Car useful but not necessary: Whilst a car is useful for exploring the interior of the Cote d'Azur & Provence, when we visit we fly there and then rent a car but only for a few days. This provides for more relaxed travel and is less expensive when travelling from the UK. A car is not required for the beach, marina, local restaurants etc and there is a good train service along the coast from La Napoule to Cannes, Nice, Antibes, Monaco and other attractions such as Eze in between. There is a boat service from Cannes to St Tropez (faster than by road). For those wanting their own car without a long drive there is a car-train service to St Rafael only 30 mins drive away.
Tennis courts: Are available across the street from the apartment.
All rates inclusive of hot water, electricity and (in winter) heating. Also includes WIFI internet access.
In addition to the rent, payable on arrival: 60 euros for cleaning at the end of the rental + 0.75 euros per night per person over the age of 16 Taxe de Sejour (local stay tax).

About Mike Smith
We love holidaying in the south of France. The facilities around La Napoule are perfect for adults and children, with so much variety. La Napoule is a quieter village on the Riviera, easy to access the buzz of Cannes, easy to get away from that too. The location is close to the beach, golf and on the edge of the Massif de l'Esterel area of breathtaking natural beauty great for walking.

We saw this apartment and decided we just had to have it. It is close to the pool. The secluded terrace is essentially an extra room. The living room is spacious. The decor is attractive, mixing traditional style with modern comforts. It is safe, with security gates and underground parking. We have found that the neighbours who live in and visit the block are also very nice.

A lovely apartment! Great location!
We really enjoyed our stay in this cosy apartment! 20 mins walk to the port and beach and only 5 mins to the supermarket ! The apartment was clean and well appointed and Mike the owner responded quickly to questions leading up to our stay. Would definitely recommend this to family and friends and hope to stay again in the near future!

Our local manager met you at the property and so we are surprised to hear you did not feel welcome. We were met by Anne the property manager who gave us all the information we could need regarding the area and property
The property was exactly as described,very clean and well maintained
There was everthing you could need in the kitchen even down to washing up liquid and dishcloths.
We ate in several times as we could get everything at the local Geant Supermarket 2 minutes drive away
Many restaurants were within walking distance and we tried several of these and fould them all to be excellent
The nearby beaches were clean and the sea was still fairly warm even in October
We would recommend this property to friends and relatives

Property 14142 Review
My wife and I spent two weeks at this property in October/November 2008. The units is convenient to supermarkets, shopping, golf, and the A8. It was easy to do day trips to the French coast, Italy and Provence. Internet cafe about a mile away, There is wireless available at the shopping center less than 1/2 mile from the apartment. Safe neighborhood, underground parking, fenced and gated apartment complex. Ann and Mike were easy to work with. Ann was more than accomadating for directions, CD's in English and working around our travel schedule. I would highly recommend this property.
Wonderful apartment in great location
This is a well furnished, spacious one bedroom apartment in a great location - perfect for Cannes or driving further afield to the mountains or along the coast. A hypermarket (with everything you could need) is only 5 minutes walk away and the local beach is a 10 minute walk. The kitchen is fully equipped to enable you to cook a meal if you preferred to relax at home rather than go out. There is a good choice of restaurants locally and Cannes is less than 10 minutes on the train. The train is a good option to avoid the expense of parking in Cannes, although be sure to check the train times as there is only one around every 30 minutes, or even one an hour at weekends. The buses to Cannes are also an option and more frequent. Overall, I would not hesitate to recommend this apartment to a couple or a young family. The owner (Mike) and manager (Anne) are very efficient, friendly and professional.
Ideally located in a very popular part of the Cote d'Azur on France's Mediterranean coast (15 minutes by car to Cannes and 30 minutes to Nice).
The apartment is situated within a 15 minutes stroll (along a pleasant pine tree lined back road through a golf course) to the marina, beach, village and a range of good restaurants.
A large supermarket is only 5 minutes walk away for those fresh morning croissants.
There are a range of sporting options within 150 meters of the block: one of the South of France's most popular golf clubs, a local tennis club and a golf range. A wide range of other sporting and recreational facilities is also available in the local community.
There are numerous villages and towns to visit, including, Mougins (gourmet cuisine); Grasse (home of perfume); St Paul de Vence (famous for its art galleries) to name but a few. There is also an excellent train service to Cannes/Nice/Monaco for shopping and sight-seeing.
Golf: The historic and popular 'Old Course Cannes-Mandelieu' is only 150 meters from the apartment. It offers daily green fees, has a charming club house with bar / restaurant and boasts two courses. The 18 hole 'Old Course', 5749 meters / par 71, is annual host to the Côte d'Azur's most prestigious meetings and is distinguished by its even topography and multi-centenary Mediterranean Pine. In addition it offers a full 9 hole 'Grand Duc' course, 2118 meters / par 33, also useful when the 18 hole course is reserved for competitions. There are a number of other good golf courses in the area.
