The living room has two sofas where six adult people can sit comfortably, a table for 6-8 adult people, books and toys for your kids.

All the furniture in the house and most of the electric appliances have been renovated in april 2014.
Start the day early in the morning, at 6 am to see how the fishing boats leave the harbour to get the best fishing spots.
While fishermen are working you can go to Ca l'Orench, the best bakery in town, to get some bread and pastries for breakfast. You should also buy some oranges at the fruit and vegetable market in order to get a fresh orange juice.
After that nice breakfast you can go to the beach all morning and have lunch in any of the restaurants around, or you can go back to the flat for a quick lunch and a long nap!
Between 4-5 pm the fishing boats come back to the harbour followed by the seagulls and if you go to the harbour you will have the chance to attend the fish auction. Every fisherman takes home part of the captures of the day that later, his wife sells in the Portal del Peix, just 50 metres from our building. You can go there and get some fish for dinner.
After dinner is not time to rest! You should get a nice ice-cream and go for a walk all through the bay until you get to the mouth of the Tordera river, stopping to have a look at the crafts stalls you will find on your way.
Now you deserve a nice sleep if you don't want to enjoy the night life. There is a large number of bars and pubs to have a drink.
We speak catalan, spanish, english, portuguese and french.
Olga Freixa purchased this condo in 2014
Our family came to Blanes for a beach holiday, and we were not disappointed. The apartment is perfectly located, down two flights of stairs and across the street from the beach. With two young children, it was perfect when lugging all of our beach gear. The apartment is also close to the daily market, coffee bars, and a lively night scene. We had three adults and two children, and theh apartment was a perfect size. All the linens were clean with fresh bath and beach towels. There even was a beach umbrella, which came in handy for my daughter's fair English skin! The kitchen was well stocked with plates, cups, and glasses, and there was a collection of toys and games for the kids. We appreciated the Wifi as well. Olga was extremely easy to communicate with and arrange all the final details. My only complaint is that I am no a huge fan of Ikea mattresses, because they are not very comfortable. Other than that, you can not go wrong with Olga or this apartment! Highly recommend!
For over40n years, me and my family spend our vacations in Blanes. For 20 years me and my husband and kids rented the same appartment in Blanes. Due to kids in college, we had other dates this year and our usual house was not available. Through HomeAway we found this apartment. Perfect located, in the centre of the old town of Blanes. The beach and sea in front, just to cross the street and boulevard. The vivid centre with all restaurants, tapas bars and coffee bars when you walk out the door. The apartment itself was all new! Bright, white and clean. Good, new beds, where I could sleep in with my feet in (as I am 6 feet tall and most Spanish beds are to short for me..). More than enough closet space, altough I missed extra closet for hanging al my dresses. The beds were made, towels per colour per room, and, very handy, also beach towels (who are heavy in your suitcase).
There was a washing machine and dryer (!), the kitchen had a new fridge and microwave oven and washer.
There were (for 6 persons) enough plates, glass, wineglasses, flutes for your cava.
Overall very good utilated.
Olga speaks very good English which was very handy since mySpanish/ Catala is very poor. She is a very nice person, very helpfull. Due to our early flight/arrival she let us check in earlier and let us leave our luggage when we checked out early but had a late flight home.
When we arrived, there was water and juice and milk in the fridge and there was a welcome gift for us whicj contained after-sun, showergel, cookies, marmalade and brread. A scented candle was lit. These kind of friendly details are much appriciated! Also the guide for the apartment and area with tips is an extra! And our biggest surprise, WIFI!! Our 18 year old son was very happy..;)!
Again, thank you very much Olga for your hospitality. We will certainly return iin your lovely home and recommend others to go there as well!
