We wanted a country retreat for our annual family midweek break, this fit the profile perfectly! Modern, plenty of room and comfortable. The owner was her friendly and helpful, we will definitely be coming back!

Very roomy, clean, accommodating house in a beautiful village.

  • 5 of 5

We booked Hazeldene for a 'civilised' Hen party over a bank holiday weekend. Andrew met us at the house and showed us around and was very welcoming.

The house had much more space than appears from the photos on the site. The kitchen, living room and conservatory were perfect spaces to entertain in and the garden was a little sun trap. Ditching is a beautiful village and the houses are quite close together on the lane, so I wouldn't recommend it for rowdy parties, however inside the house is very quiet and we had no noise complaints, so I believe that it is a lot more sound-proof than you'd think!

The house was very well kitted out and everything was decorated immaculately and very clean. We loved staying here and would definitely recommend it again!

Thanks!

Kate, the bride-to-be and the hens. x

Lovely place to stay

  • 5 of 5

The bungalow was lovely, even nicer than the photos.

It was very clean and had everything that we needed.

We went to the local pub (the bull) the food was lovely and it is just round the corner from the property.

The owner was very helpful and kept in contact from the moment we booked. I would highly recommend this property.

Lovely property

  • 4 of 5

We were a large family group that used this lovely home as a base while enjoying day trips to Brighton and the surrounding area. The house provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay and plenty of space for our children too.

I would recommend this property and use it again should I visit that area again.

Great property for groups

  • 5 of 5

A lovely spacious, modern house kept immaculately clean and tidy. It was perfect for our group of 10 ladies.

The living space was great with plenty of comfy seats and a large table in the sunny conservatory for us to all sit round and socialise. The open plan kitchen meant that no one felt left out when cooking. We also enjoy the patio area as the weather was lovely.

The bedrooms where spacious with mirrors and coat hanger space available. The added bonus for a group of women was the fact that it had three showers within the property (two en-suite) which was great when you are all trying to get ready to go out.

The owner met us when we arrived to show us around, which was a nice touch.

We enjoyed a day and night out in Brighton which was not too far for the propery. We paid £20 per car (seating 4) on the way into town and around £40 for a six seater on the way home, but this was after midnight.

I would highly recommend this property to any friends or family.
