Twin bedroom with en-suite

Opposite the family bedroom is another twin or double room with en-suite shower room with WC wash basin and single shower cubicle. Sleeps 2. Located at the front.

2 further bedrooms are located off the very spacious hallway that leads to the kitchen living dining room, sleeping 2 each with 'Zip and link' beds that can be set as doubles or 2 singles (Please specify at time of booking)

3 x Sofa Beds in the living room which sleep 1 adult each comfortably or 2 small adults or children.

Family Bathroom with walk in shower room and bath with WC and wash basin.

Great house for a big group

Hired this house for a hen do. The space worked well for us and the village is lovely. Everything was well organised and easy before arrival. Rooms were set up to sleep 11 in proper beds with room for more on sofa beds. Decent bathroom space. Only 20 minutes into Brighton.

A few drawbacks - slightly limited kitchen supplies (including glasses - Not enough wine glasses for 12 people), garden could be made much nicer and no supply of towels.

Overall would recommend for a group.

Amazing place

We stayed here to celebrate a special birthday and the place was amazing! We all agreed that the photos don't do it justice - the place is massive and comfortably slept all 13 of us. I think someone else described it as a tardis and we'd have to agree! The rooms are spacious and there are plenty of bathrooms and space to cater for large groups.

The property was immaculately clean with all the amenities you could need and in a great location to visit Brighton Lewes or walk up to the beacon which we all did. Stunning scenery.

We had dinner at the Bull in the village which was lovely and only a short walk and there are lots of supermarkets in Hassocks which is around the corner.

Can't recommend this place enough and we're already thinking about our next stay here...

A lovely stay - thank you!

Our group consisted of 10 ladies who stayed for 2 nights for a hen weekend and the house served us perfectly. All of the bedrooms were spacious and clean and lots of people commented on how comfy the beds were! The big kitchen/living room and conservatory area allowed us to all spend time and eat together comfortably.

The location was great - quiet and pretty, and thanks to great weather we were able to visit the South Downs National Park for a picnic!

Andrew responded very quickly to any queries we had and kept in contact to ensure there were no problems, and Connor, who checked us in, was welcoming and friendly.

Thank you for ensuring that we had a great weekend!

Superb stay!

We had a great stay at the hazeldene retreat. There were 13 of us on a sophisticated hen do and couldn't have asked for a nicer house. There was sufficient space to accommodate us all and great to have sufficient bathroom space too. In a quiet and peaceful area. I imagine it would be lovely in the summer as it has a beautiful garden to sit out in. Andrew was very helpful and contactable before & throughout our stay. Would definitely recommend. Hope to return soon! Thank you.

Perfect for Brighton..

My son ran the Brighton marathon on Sunday. Supported by all his family we stayed at this spacious, comfortable and relaxing house. A short drive to Hassock station and then 9mins into centre of Brighton. Very well stocked kitchen. Fab TV. Outside space for dog and taking in the sunshine. Two generous ensuite bedrooms and good family bathroom with big shower.
