Wonderful girls weekend away!

  • 5 of 5

This house was a dream for a girls weekend away! The house itself was beautiful with its large wrap around porch that we enjoyed all weekend. The bedrooms were sunny and large and the communal area was great for hanging out and relaxing. The best part of this house is that it is a 2 minute walk from the beach and a 5 minute walk to town. You can actually see the ocean from the porch and it is the perfect place to have morning coffee. We can't wait to come back again soon!

Lovely home close to it all!

  • 5 of 5

This was my groups second time staying here. We just love the charm of this house. Not only that, the place is impeccably clean upon arrival, the kitchen is very well equipped. We grilled in the backyard without a problem. We didn't use the washer/dryer until the end when we had to clean a few items, but it's brand new and easy to use if needed. The extra refrigerator has always been helpful when you have 12 adults in one house!

The porch is amazing with it's rockers and tables. We even enjoyed it during a bit of rain. Something so relaxing about a cup of coffee and a rocker!

The house is so close to downtown Oak Bluffs, which offered our large group the flexibility to split up and walk back and forth to the house as people needed. A car is not necessary as the bus drops off at the end of the road, and there is a small grocery store walkable to the house.

We went in early spring so a bit cold for the beach, but for those that go in warmer weather, there is a beach at the end of the road that you can see from the house! perfect.

Also- Nina was extremely accommodating and responsive before our arrival. We had zero issues during our trip, so we did not need to reach out for anything!

We will be coming back!

Beautiful, great location, cozy

  • 5 of 5

This is a beautiful house with lots of space and bedrooms. Only a block from the ocean and two blocks from restaurants and anything else you'd need in town. The owner was so helpful and accommodating during our stay. Couldn't recommend it more! We loved Martha's Vineyard and Oak Bluffs.

Perfect House for Family Gathering

  • 5 of 5

This house works: togetherness comes naturally with the big dining table and spacious porch, yet no one felt on top of each other. We had a mixture of family ( some had not seen each other for years) and friends. When things got boisterous at the table, one friend was able to go upstairs and read quietly. Owner was available and helpful with issue re linens.

A couple things about the house--not to complain but to answer your request for things that could improve the experience: TV in upstairs balcony room was not working, perhaps loose wiring;

Hot water temperature is set too high (we think could be dangerous);

Also somewhat dangerous: handling hot liquids from microwave on top of fridge (we moved it down to countertop.

Some people didn't notice the stop down into the pantry, at first;

The wind really blew into the upstairs front balcony room, making it very cold for sleeping, even with the heat on.

Maybe mention ahead of time that there are very helpful instructions posted in the laundry room that we didn't notice right away...but I guess we were 8 somewhat distracted and ditsy people.

But really the house is wonderful and we want to come back!
