About this property

Sweet vintage 1950's bungalow/cottage with all the charm of the island! Beautifully decorated and located on the island's much sought after north end. A short walk to Bean Point Beach, and just a few minutes more to Bay Front Beach and Park, and Rod and Reel Pier. The new city pier is now open with limited hours and also just a short walk from home! Crystal clear waters of the gulf, white sands, and island breezes await!

2 bedrooms, 2 baths. Cozy living room with full sized foldout sofa, screened in lanai, kitchen, one queen bed and one king bed. Queen bedroom has walk-in closet. Full sized washer and dryer included in the home and complimentary bikes to explore the island. Other items at the home for your use during your stay are beach towels, sand and pool toys, beach chairs, a cart to roll all your gear to the beach, and pack-n-play for baby. Many accoutrements included!

We have stayed on the Island a number of time and must say this is one of the best places we have stayed at, its a really well kept property and the pool / garden makes it one of the best, great location

Weekend trip

Only a short weekend trip from Orlando, but well worth it. The property had everything we needed, and the location was perfect, within walking distance of the beach and pier. We just wish we could have stayed a little longer!

Loved the location and the property. Only reason I gave it 4 stars was the construction of a new house right behind the property. The workers had a view of our whole backyard. So when we were in the pool, they a clear view of us.

Such an amazing property and staff!

We were traveling from Wisconsin on a last minute vacation and could not have and a better time! The location of the home was unprecedented! The pool was exactly what we needed and spent so many hours in there when not at the beach! Thank you for being amazing hosts and we look forward to coming back to shell we dance!

We were taken with Anna Maria Island the minute we visited. We knew this would be the place we would one day retire. Chicago area natives, we have transferred with Don's employer several times, including to the low country of South Carolina and currently the Indianapolis area of Indiana. With many family members and friends living in Florida, it has been a place we have come to enjoy and visit quite often. Nowhere has captivated us the way Anna Maria has! To us it is heaven on earth and a place we hope everyone will be able to visit at least once in their lifetime! It is the people that make it truly the warmest and most welcoming of islands we have visited. Now we own a small slice of the island and want to share it with as many people as we can.

Why they chose this property

The northern tip of Anna Maria Island is a quiet, laid-back area, with the most amazing beaches! The white sands are created from crystal which stays cool even on the hottest of days, and if you shuffle your feet, the sand "sings". The waters are so clear you can see your feet while waist deep. The Rod and Reel Pier is literally down the street. Some shops, eateries and beaches are literally minutes walking distance, and you can bike to others on our complementary bikes!

What makes this property unique

Shell We Dance is ground level entry with no steps, and a lagoon style private pool with splash pad wading ledge. We are also one of the very few owners who make their home available for less than a week's stay.
