Wonderful for a quick getaway.
We loved staying here! The area was beautiful and the cabin was very nice. You can tell Kent cares a lot for his property and he worked hard to make sure our stay was a nice one. We loved walking through the woods and the view of the lake from the property is gorgeous.
Very cozy, clean and well stocked
We had a great time at Lil bear. We were very happy with the extremely clean and inviting condition of the cabin. We were also pleased with the array of dishes, pans and utensils that were stocked in the kitchen. We enjoyed watching deer walk through both the front and back yards. We saw multiple buck and doe. The cabin was also not that far from Manistee itself. While the cabin had a secluded feel we were able to go into town for a meal while only having to drive fifteen minutes. Overall this was a great location to relax and enjoy nature in a quiet and private setting.
Cute, cozy, super clean, and great location
Little Bear Cabin exceeded all expectations. Myself and three buddies rented the cabin for a long weekend fishing trip. The cabin was extremely clean, comfortable, and had all the accoutrements to make our stay enjoyable. The location is very private/peaceful and has easy access to Lake Michigan. We will definitely book again... either for another fishing trip or with our families.
Well stocked and comfortable cabin.
Really enjoyed this roomy cabin in the woods. Nicely set up with everything you need for a time away. Property is located within easy drive to both Ludington and Manistee. Although Mother Nature has made a wreck of the beach and the beach access at this time, the cabin is within minutes drive to parks with beaches so that was no problem. The lake and sunset viewing from the bluff is wonderful! We enjoyed exploring the whole area and two-tracking in the Manistee National Forest. Fall Mushroom hunting began right out the back door. Ken (the owner) was very responsive in the rental process and things worked out well! We hope to rent this cabin again in the future.

Secluded and quiet, great access to the lake!
Had a great weekend. Kent went the extra mile to make sure we could get down to the lake when all the surrounding stairs were washed out. Saw a bald eagle! Easy drive into Ludington and Manistee. Cabin was clean and nice and quiet. Just what we were looking for.
Glad you folks had a good time and got a chance to see some of the wonderful wildlife. This region of Manistee is unspoiled and largely undeveloped. Glad the new stairs made your stay more fun, and please come back anytime!

The cabin was secluded with a beautiful forest behind it.
It was perfect. Walked the beach and trails for miles.
