Located directly on the shuttle route to/from Winter Park Resort and with walking access to town (.75 miles) and Arapahoe National Forest (.25 miles).

The property features an open kitchen, dining, and living area with 25 foot high ceilings and huge windows to immerse the home in natural light.

Main level entry via a short driveway and attached garage. Main level includes kitchen, living and dining areas, one bedroom with en-suite bathroom and an additional half-bath.

Lower level is accessed down a short flight of stairs and includes 9 foot ceilings with full size windows. Lower level includes an open and bright living area as well as two bedrooms, each with en-suite bathrooms, and a full size laundry room.

The kitchen includes a full suite of stainless steel appliances including a Thermador range. Granite countertops throughout including a large island for dining, entertaining and cooking.

Master bedroom includes a king size bed and full en-suite bathroom with steam shower.

Second bedroom includes a queen bed and full bath/shower.

Third bedroom includes a bunk bed (full bottom, twin top) and full bathroom with jacuzzi tub.

Great house for a wonderful family vacation!
I was absolutely impressed with your house from the moment I found it on VRBO. I contacted Steve, the owner, and he immediately responded to all of my questions. Once I got there I was again impressed with how beautiful, clean, and comfortable it was. Nick, the property manager, was also very responsive and helpful during our stay. I had a couple of questions and I would either text or call him and he would take care of me right away. I will definitely stay here again. Thanks for sharing your house with us Steve!

Our family has loved using our property in Winter Park over the past 10 years and is happy to share it with other like minded families looking to enjoy the amazing mountains and community of Winter Park town and resort.

Travel commitments and scheduling conflicts have provided us with an opportunity to offer our home over some peak times for the 2018-2019 ski season. We'd love to find a good partnering relationship for longer term rental periods and are available to discuss arrangements to facilitate longer term or repeat rentals throughout the season.

Why they chose this property

The property has a unique open and airy feel not found in many other mountain properties. Huge windows open onto the forest above Vasquez Creek providing for a classic mountain experience, while also providing an amazing location and easy access into and out of the property. A short driveway, oversized attached garage and direct entry into the main living area of the house simplify entry and exits.

The location is great. Easy and close access into Arapahoe National forest and about .75 miles into downtown Winter Park. Enjoy the Winter Park shuttle service that is always on time and provides transport to / from Winter Park Resort every half hour during ski season.

What makes this property unique

We love the contemporary open layout of the property and have decorated it accordingly using a lot of Room & Board furniture and otherwise similar feeling pieces.

The in-floor heating is wonderful for warming up bathroom tiles and floors in general.

The location of the property can't be beat. You can't help but want to return to the forest again and again for cross country skiing, hiking, snow shoeing, etc. It is simply too close by not to.

We have intentionally remained "technology light". We are happy to provide our bluetooth speaker and projector combination which we use to stream and project movies and sporting events on the big wall in the living area. Cell signals are strong in the property and we have no trouble streaming. We don't however have TVs in the house (just to be up-front!). Please let's discuss any questions and concerns in regard to this.
