Two Bedroom Flat Over Viewing Glasgow Green. Close to Commonwealth Games Venues

The flat has two bedrooms. One with a double bed (can be changed to two single if required) and the second has two single bed. The flat sleeps four people very comfortable with the various combination of beds (please advise before arrival). There is also a pull down bed available for a 5th person if required. All bedding and towels are included in the price. Beds are made up with duvets. Bath and hand towels provided and there is a hair dryer. There is a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, fridge, freezer electric cooker and toaster. The flat has free wireless broadband connection. There is free parking in bays to front and rear and secure access to the building. We include a free welcome breakfast pack with your choice of brown or white bread. Complimentary tea and coffee is also available. Suitable for both families and business visitors, our self-catering accommodation is perfect for your stay in Glasgow. Children welcome. Cot and high chair available. No pets, no smoking and NO PARTIES. The bathroom has the option of a walk in shower or for those relaxing nights after a long day viewing all of Glasgow’s sites take a bath. The flat is within a short walking distance to both Glasgow City Centre and the Merchant City area, with various restaurants and bars to choose from. There is a bus stop within 200 metres, a railway station within 500 metres, and the River Clyde walkway is only 50 metres. There is also a supermarket and a swimming pool within one mile. The flat is ideally located to all major sporting attractions within Glasgow that were used for the Commonwealth games. The flat is directly opposite the new National Hockey Centre

Comfortable and well equipped

Iain answered emails promptly to answer any questions. His partner, Lesley made sure we had what we needed and spent the time it took to make sure we knew how to use the appliances etc. We liked the quiet area and the view of Glasgow Green. Thanks for a pleasant stay.

Great stay!

We were met at the flat by Ian's partner. She reviewed how all the appliances worked with us. She came in one week later and changed out the linens for us. The flat was clean and comfortable. Thank-you so much for the use of your flat. Ian was very responsive and communicative during the booking process and just prior to our trip as this was my first time using HomeAway. It won't be my last it was a great value for our trip. The location was great! We walked to the city tour bus! We walked to the train station! We found it easy to get around Scotland from this location.

Good apartment across from a large park

The apartment was clean, comfortable, and roomy. An older apartment that has been updated, It is set away from the downtown in a quiet residential area. If you don't mind walking, you are able to catch the hop on/hop off bus tour less than a mile away. It will take you all over to explore the different sights within Glasgow and then you just take it back to your stop in front of the People's Palace. There are a couple restaurants about the same distance away, too. Otherwise, a car would be suggested to get around.

Neat place to stay!

This was a great place to stay. Room for 4 adults and very comfortable. Quiet area and Glasgow Green was just across the street and in walking distance to the train station and other places.

Non vehicle renter

Communication between owner and renter was poor as the location and information was difficult to obtain. We were disappointed that we were so far from restaurants and shopping for a non vehicle renter. The apartment lighting was great during the day but horrible after dark. We guessed that no one was expected to read in the evening.

Great Family Holiday

We stayed at the flat for a week (2 adults, 3 kids - 7, 4, & 4). The flat was very comfortable for a family, great location across from the Green and a short walk to an amazing play park and The People's Palace. We have a lot of family in the area and there was ample parking for our rental car and day visitors, and easy access in and out of the city. There was also a big Tesco a short drive away, which was very handy. As our kids are still quite young they shared the smaller bedroom (we pushed the beds together and they all slept there), and we had the other room. The large open family room/kitchen was great as we had lots of space to relax after a day of sightseeing and visiting. Of particular note was the window nook where the table was, that was a lovely spot to sit and enjoy breakfast or a cup of tea and look out over the trees and the Green. We will definitely plan on staying here again on a return trip.
