The accommodation is self contained on the raised ground floor level of the owners townhouse. We are therefore nearby so shall meet you and settle you in to the accommodation and are available should you wish any help or advice during your stay.
The apartment has a stunning 28 foot long bow ended drawing room, fully equipped kitchen and utility room, bedroom with the option of a 6 foot double or two single beds and bathroom which has a bath with shower over.
The property is set up to be a home from home with the intention that you can bring only the luggage you would need if you were booked in to a hotel. Soap, shampoo, body wash and paper are provided in the bathroom. The kitchen has teas, coffees, hot chocolate, sugar, salt, pepper, cereals and cooking oil. The fridge will be stocked with bread, milk, butter, jam, biscuits, fruit and eggs to welcome you. There are supermarkets just a few minutes walk away on Shandwick Place for stocking up on other items. There are also many excellent restaurants close by
The accommodation is arranged as follows. The apartment is approached from the street via the front step which forms a bridge over the basement area. You enter through double doors into the shared entrance hall then take your private door into the apartment drawing room with double windows facing the cobbled street and the rear gardens of Charlotte Square. This room is 28 foot long with a bow end, wood paneling, working shutters and a large black marble fireplace with an open gas fire. The furniture is a mix of antique and modern with two huge leather sofas, a desk/work area with a wealth of information for your stay, large screen TV, DVD player and radio. Original oil paintings, fresh flowers and plants add a finishing touch.
A concealed (jib) door leads to the inner hall. The bedroom at the back of the building has a large window overlooking gardens and with working shutters. The wall decorations are hand painted. There is a super king size (6 foot wide) bed which can be converted to two single beds (please give your preference when booking). Pillows and duvets are non allergenic and the bedding is pure cotton for your comfort. There is ample storage space in the antique wardrobe and drawer unit.
A travel cot/crib and high chair can be provided on request.
The kitchen also overlooks the rear gardens with a table for four at the window. This is also a good place to work on your laptop with the free wifi. It is equipped with electric hob and oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, kettle, coffee maker, toaster and ironing facilities. There is also a utility room with a washer dryer.
The bathroom has a bath with shower over and is supplied with cotton towel sets and toiletries.
In the event of cancellation I shall try to re let and refund minus a £50.00 charge. If I cannot re let the terms are -
More than 30 days prior to arrival: 25% of Rental
Less than 30 days prior to arrival: 100% of Rental
