Why Jennifer Lloyd chose Piedmont
Our dad had the property deeded to him by his mother, who lived next door, on a very steep and what was called, at the time, unbuildable lot. Dad got creative and commissioned notorious steep-lot "King of the Round House" architect Leon Meyer for a design and plans. The next two years, it was a family project to get my mom, Aida's, dream house built in the canyon for our family of 6.
What makes this House unique
Deer and turkeys wander in the canyon surrounding the house, redwood and oak tree views from every window makes it a peaceful roost. Oh yeah, and the house is round!

Perfect Perfect Perfect!
First off, thank you Jennifer for everything. You were very accommodating. I enjoyed my stay. Very scenic with breathtaking views. Jennifer’s home is perfect. Everything was so 70’s. Felt like I went back in time a bit... In a good way! Not just the artchitecture but the ambience and all the finishings. You can see the sunset through the windows which was absolutely beautiful! I wish HomeAway allowed us to upload photos. Jennifer made sure I felt at home and gave some good recommendations for spots to check out. . I wish I was able to stay longer. I certainly did not want to leave. I hope in the near future I can visit again. I really would like to know where you purchased that cute little vintage clutch by the lamp near the couch :).

Cool place to stay!
My family had been here for one week. Very quiet and very convenient (only 15min driving to downtown Oakland). We said hi to deers in the morning or afternoon everyday in the back yard. Jennifer is very helpful. I always got quick answers when I have questions. Highly recommended!
