Our complex is a few miles from Ko'Olina Resort and Kapolei which is known as the second city with ample restaurants, movie theaters, Costco, Target, Ka Makaha Ali’i Shopping Center, CVS/Longs, grocery stores and an Urgent Clinic.
Waianae, on Oahu's leeward, or west coast, less than an hour from Honolulu, has some excellent swimming and sunning beaches. The coast is separated from the rest of Oahu by the Waianae mountain range, where visitors can hike and enjoy the stunning views. The Waianae coast is accessible on H1, past the Ko Olina resort area. Once past the resorts, beachgoers will find a stretch of beaches popular with the locals including Nanakuli Beach, Poka’i Bay, Ma’ili Beach, Yokohama Bay, Pililaau Army Beach and Makaha Beach.
Oahu’s transportations are: various cab companies, Lyft and Uber. The public transportation is known as “TheBus” which is the most economical form of transportation.
However, getting around on the island would be more convenient with your own rental car with the flexibility to plan travel time and maximize your stay.
