1 Bedroomed Flat Close To City Centre

Our 1 bedroom holiday flat is ideally located in the Gorgie Area of the City. The flat is set back from the main road with a small play park in front, ideal for young children. There is one car space to the rear of the building.

The Gorgie district is ideally placed for easy access to the main heart of commerce and history which is the centre of Edinburgh. Areas close by include Dalry, Haymarket and Murrayfield.

Local shops on Gorgie Road offer a comprehensive and diverse range of services and other amenities including banking, Post Office facilities, dentists and doctors and a range of cosmopolitan shops. Leisure and recreational opportunities nearby include Saughton Public Park, Gorgie City Farm and Fountain Park Leisure Complex. Napier University close by for the more mature student.

Excellent public transport links provide easy, quick access to the City Centre and beyond. The Edinburgh City Bypass, Edinburgh International Airport, the Forth Road Bridge and the major A1 motorway networks are all easily accessible by car.

Gorgie has an excellent bus service operating to the whole city all the time and you can be on Princess street in less than 15 minutes.

The flat which is on the first floor has one bedroom with double bed, built-in wardrobe, and chest of drawers. Hairdryer is provided.

The Lounge has dining table and chairs, sofa and TV with built in DVD. The sofa converts to sofa bed, but would only be suitable for one person.

Kitchen comes fully equipped with washing machine, microwave, toaster and kettle, fridge and freezer and iron & ironing board.

The bathroom has electric shower over a bath, with WC and washbasin there is also a heated towel rail in the bathroom.

Wifi is also available.

Decor is light and neutral.

The flat is very nice, warm and clean. Located very close to a main road,

but very quiet and with private parking. Had everything you could want if

staying for a long period.

Great location to city centre

Perfect size for 2 people. Located on bus route directly to the city centre. Safe area, we travelled by bus from the Tatoo at 11:30 pm, bus stop right out front. We arrived early and Rhona was just finishing getting it ready for our early arrival.

Lovely flat in a great location

My sister and I spent the weekend at Rhona's flat as a base to explore Edinburgh. The flat is in a great location, just 10/15 mins bus ride to Princes street with a bus stop right outside. Having a parking space for the car was also an added bonus as I have stayed in Edinburgh several times before and always has to pay to park. The flat itself was clean, nicely laid out and well equipped for a short stay. Rhona met us at the flat to let us in and show us around. Overall a lovely weekend, would definitely use the flat again. Thanks!

Kid-friendly

Price, location and play park on site were why we chose this place. We had our car and it was only 10 minutes to the Zoo, plus easy access for day trips to St Andrews and North Berwick. Bus to centre is about 30 minutes one way (including walk and wait) but could be an hour in traffic. Convenient though. Place was so clean, Rhona was lovely, flat had everything we need. Stairwell smells of smoke but apartment doesn't at all. Pillows are lumpy so bring your own if you are fussy about that. Highly recommend this place!

I really liked the flat, small and modern with all conveniences, reasonably quiet, friendly Co-op over the road, bus over the road and 15 mins into the town centre, owner very friendly and helpful.

We were here at Fringe time and I found the cooking facilities ideal, much better and more flexible than a B&B alternative. I would recommend it every time.

Gorgie is an area in the city of Edinburgh, it has shops, banks, play park and within walking distance is Gorgie City Farm which is a great family activity. It is possible to walk to the city, or there are buses running frequently nearby.

If visiting for the first time, Edinburgh Castle is a must see and then stroll down the Royal Mile to Holyrood Palace, home to the Queen when she is in Edinburgh.

Fountain Park is also very nearby,which boasts a fitness centre, cinema complex, 10 pin bowling as well as several restaurants.
