We had a fantastic week exploring the area and to be able to come back at night to this gem and walk into Mousehole was fantastic. Our daughter slept on the pull down sofa bed which was brilliant.

Would definitely go again.

Beautiful location with superb views over the bay to St. Michael's Mount.

  • 4 of 5

We had a wonderful two weeks and the hosts were very welcoming and friendly. The property is in a spectacular location, although parking could be problematic as the house is multi level with a tight entrance and exit onto the main road. Everything needed for a great holiday was provided in the Annexe, even a washing machine and we were very happy and comfortable.

Mousehole - blowhole!

This 'ole hole - Tophole!

As residents in a different part of Cornwall we are used to the stunning scenery. (Well somebody has to live here.) Having said that - the view from here is to die for.

Try the Longboat pub near the harbour car park in Pz for good value fresh fish meals especially for the "golden oldies". Parking is £1.50 for the evening after 18.30. We found parking near almost any other eatery in the towns is virtually non existent unless you want to walk miles just to eat in crowded, overpriced, tourist trap, trendy, pretentious, not touched with a barge pole by the locals......... I'll stop before the air turns blue.

Best pasties are available at Warrens, over in St. Just - but you need to get there before the locals have bought them all. Also try their saffron cake (with butter of course) - all others are a pale imitation!

The Logan Rock pub also does good food and is very friendly. Good sized free CP for patrons just a few yards away down the hill. Also highly recommended is the Old Success pub at Sennen. Try their fish pie (with cinnamon) for good value freshly cooked food. Parking usually available on-site, but we don't go there at peak times!

Enjoy.
