Families love the Yellow Rose in the summer! You can go to Splash Kingdom, The Alligator Farm, Yesterland, the Mineola Nature Preserve, fishing at Lake Fork, etc. Plus horse shoes and corn hole in the yard!

Children coming? When the reservation is made, you can request that we have a pack and play, a high chair, and a tricycle for them. No charge, but advanced requests must be made so it’s not at another one of our rentals. (Bring your own sheets.) There is a swing set in the back yard.

Propane grill provided.

One or two well behaved dogs are allowed. You must keep them crated when you are away from the house. (We have crates if you need one.)

The Yellow Rose is on four acres of land just 10 minutes from First Monday Trade Days in Canton. The front porch looks out onto horse property and the back porch looks out onto a wooded forest. Next door there are chickens, ducks, and geese. It's quiet and serene. A great place to unwind after a long day of shopping, wedding festivities or visiting wineries.

We always decorate for the holidays - fall, Christmas, and spring!

**** We have another house across the street that sleeps 10 - so if you have a large group - we can accommodate you! Perfect for wedding families.

The Canton Cottage (Property ID 586627) is across the street and owned by the same owners as the Yellow Rose. It has a FIVE star rating. So although this is a new listing - it's owned by people who have 2 other rentals with FIVE star ratings - so book with confidence!

Take the family to the country and relax and reconnect. There is corn hole, horseshoes, and croquet in the front and a fire pit in the back. Eight rocking chairs on the front porch and seating for 4 on the back porch.

The house was renovated in ship lap and bead board in a Fixer Upper style. The best feature of the house are the porches with ample comfy chairs for everyone. The second best feature is the totally open kitchen and living area keeping everyone together with plenty of seating. Third best feature is the decor - this is NOT your grandmother's farmhouse! The fourth is the family/friendly game area outside and board games inside.

Within 25 minutes from the house you'll find wineries and antique shopping.

Perfect Place to Stay for Canton Shoppers

The Yellow Rose is perfect! There were 5 ladies in our group and we all had our own beds! The house is adorable and comfortable! About 10 minutes from Canton, easy drive! Everything was clean and sparkling. The owner was easy to communicate with and eager to please. Very comfortable living area to relax in. You will not be disappointed!

Ladies Shopping Weekend

The house was clean, well stocked and comfortable. We were scrambling a bit upon arrival as the beds were not as listed. The "master" bedroom is as described but the two "extra" bedrooms only have two twins in each. No problem "sleeper sofa/futon", nope only a sofa in the living room. We made it work and had a GREAT time!

Family reunion

We loved Yellow Rose. The setting was so peaceful and beautiful. We had 5 adults. We were all so comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked, and Stephanie was very accommodating. Coffee on the patio was the highlight!

Canton Trade Days

We attended 3 days of the Canton First Monday Trade Days. The location was great and it was an easy drive to the Trade Days location. We enjoyed listening to the roosters crow in the morning and the very comfortable beds. Would stay here again if in the areas.

Ted and Stephanie met and married in Dallas, raised their family, and then decided to have a country home for the weekends. They own businesses in Dallas but decided to try the vacation rental business - which has become highly successful. Mainly because Stephanie has the gift of hospitality - which is evident in her decorating and the attention to detail she provides to guests. Guest have been overheard ranting and raving about the house as they walk in.

Why they chose this property

This property is across the street from their first Canton rental - the Canton Cottage (586627). They watched their neighbors renovate it and never dreamed they would one day sell it! They bought it and continues the renovation and created a fun and charming house.

What makes this property unique

If you want to get away and relax - this is the place! Great views, plenty of comfy chairs inside and out, great kitchen to cook in if you choose to do that! And need I say - 10 minutes from First Monday! There are several kid friendly places to have fun if you need an activity.
