Bright and quiet situated in the picturesque and traditional neighborhood of Capuchins, in the center of Malaga, capital of the Costa del Sol. At 500 meters from the historic and commercial center, is where you can visit the main museums (Picasso, Thyssen) and other monuments such as the Cathedral of Malaga. Capuchins is one of the oldest neighborhoods Malaga. Its people are conservative, traditional and folk customs are constantly represented. Neighbors sit on benches in the park, to maintain a pleasant conversation would not hesitate to share with you if so desired. A 8 minute walk from the historic center, make it an emblematic place, with the popular church of La Pastora and park right in front of Capuchins.

The beach is 2 km away, 10 minutes by bus (stops at the door) and a 30 minute walk. Mountain, 1 km.

Nearby Torremolinos (15 km) Benalmádena (20 km) and Marbella (50 km)

Communication needs improvement

While the flat itself is well-located and modern, our stay was marred by poor communications throughout the booking process and upon arrival. Although we paid instantly, we received no confirmation from the owner for many days. We did not have the address, so could not plan our stay.

After weeks, we were finally given the address and instructed to sent an SMS when we arrived at the building, which was going to be in the late evening. Upon arrival, we sent the SMS, but received no answer. We kept sending messages and trying to call the host, but heard nothing. Tired and anxious, with poor language skills and few people to ask for help, we finally were lucky when some nice neighbors took us off the street and into their apartment. After much telephone costs, and the help of the neighbors and a friend in the U.K., we reached the father of the host, who let us into the apartment. He said the host "was working" - certainly not for us!

Truly an unfortunate start to our trip, I would suggest that the hosts re-evaluate whether they have the time and commitment to be involved in VRBO.

Good value accommodation right in the heart of Malaga

The apartment is situated in a fairly new building within easy walking distance of the Old Town centre. The flat is situated on the third floor with lift access. It looks out to the rear so you get very little traffic noise. Clean and well equipped apartment with lounge, kitchen, double bedroom, and single bedroom. We had an enjoyable 7 day stay, only negative feature was the very firm mattress in the main bedroom.

Mooi en fris appartement op een goede locatie in de dynamische en authentieke stad Malaga

Het appartement is mooi, fris en goed geoutilleerd. Ook de entree tot het appartement is goed verzorgd. S' morgens is er tot in het begin van de middag zon aan de zijde waar een glazen schuifdeur toegang geeft tot een klein balkon. In de maand maart warmt dit het appartement zo aangenaam op. De twee slaapkamers zijn prima van grootte, en zien er fris uit. Kastruimte is er voldoende, alle kasten zijn mooi afgewerkt. De aanwezigheid van een wasmachine is verder heel handig. De ligging van het appartement is zodanig dat de meeste bezienswaardigheden en de leuke straatjes en pleintjes van de stad te voet bereikbaar zijn. Een prima supermarkt is zeer dichtbij. Ook is er een bushalte vlak voor de deur. Het openbaar vervoer is prima georganiseerd, ook met elektronische borden met verwachte aanrijtijden. Het appartement is verder gelegen ter plaatse van een leuk pleintje, en bevindt zich in een authentiek gedeelte van de stad. Op vijf a tien minuten lopen kom je dan in het oudere (middeleeuws) historische centrum, wat heel dynamisch is en voor een deel ingesteld is op toerisme, met allerlei winkeltjes, cafeetjes, restaurantjes, musea, kerken, enzovoorts. Nog vijf minuten verder lopen, en je bent aan de haven met een mooie wandelpromenade. De verhuurder heeft zich zeer gastvrij en behulpzaam opgesteld. Dat heb ik zeer gewaardeerd. Ik heb een fantastisch verblijf gehad in de maand maart 2018. Pieter

Appartamento centrale a 10min a piedi dal Centro, dotato di tutti I comfort.

Facile da trovare e vicino al raccomandatissimo ristorante Bodega De Cervantes, appartamento é molto comodo e Ana Maria sempre disponibile. Se venite a Malaga in macchina, preparatevi a spendere del tempo a trovare parcheggio. Gli spazi lungo le strade sono gratuiti ma sempre pieni ed I parcheggi a pagamento chiedono in media 2euro all'ora.

Schöne Wohnung nahe zur Innenstadt

Schöne, ruhige und geräumige Wohnung in einem netten Stadtviertel. Zu Fuss ist die Innenstadt in Kürze erreicht. Nette Kneipen und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten um die Ecke. Das Sofa bedarf einer Reparatur, ansonsten alles gut.
