Val Thorens, situé à 2300m, est la plus haute station de ski d'Europe ce qui assure un enneigement tout au long de la saison. Location d'un appartement de 30 m² situé dans la résidence calme de La Reine Blanche et qui est idéalement orienté plein SUD. Il est composé d'une chambre avec un lit double pour 2 personnes et d'une chambre avec 1 lit simple (superposé) et d'1 lit double pour 3 personnes.
Le salon est équipé d'un canapé lit pour 2 personnes (lit de 2m x 1m60) ce qui monte la capacité totale de l'appartement à 7 couchages. Les couettes et coussins sont rangés dans des sacs hygiéniques à disposition des locataires pour tous les couchages dans les armoires prévues à cet effet. Le service de remise - reprise des clés est situé à l'entrée de la résidence "La Reine Blanche" et offre aux locataires la possibilité de louer les draps de lit et le service de nettoyage directement dans la résidence. Vous évitez ainsi de devoir traverser la station le jour de votre arrivée pour récupérer draps de lit et clés de l'appartement, ce qui est confortable (tout est sur place à "La Reine Blanche"). La salle à manger (salon) est équipée d'une grande table (2m20 avec allonge pouvant accueillir 12 couverts), d'un banc, d'un canapé et de tabourets pour une douzaine de place assisses permettant de recevoir des amis pour manger autour d'une raclette - fournie dans l'appartement. Ce service de luxe inclut également un routeur WiFi auquel vous avez accès par mot de passe livré par le propriétaire ainsi qu'à une TV HD de toute dernière génération connecté sur la free Box donnant accès à des centaines de chaines. La cuisine est équipée d'un four, d'un frigo , de 4 taques de cuissons vitrocéramique et d'un grand lave vaisselle (pratique pour recevoir de nombreux couverts). Concernant les sanitaires, la toilette est séparée de la salle de bain. Celle - ci est composée d'un évier, d'une douche italienne, d'étagères de rangements pour les effets personnels des locataires ainsi que des pendoirs pour les serviettes (essuie-mains et autres vêtements). De nombreux espaces de rangement sont offerts aux locataires dans les 2 chambres afin d'y placer leurs effets personnels facilitant ainsi le confort des locataires. La chambre des adultes est également équipée d'une TV HD aussi. Enfin le hall d'entrée est équipé pour ranger combinaisons, chaussures, casques et gants afin de permettre un meilleur confort dans les espaces de vie de l'appartement. Tous les skis et surfs sont stockés dans le casier à ski situé dans le local à ski accessible au locataire. Bien évidement, le départ et retour à la résidence se fait ski au pied. Great stay, bad insulation

We were 2 couples staying for a week which was very lovely. Close to the pists and shopping. The apartment easily fits 2 couples and has an extra bunkbed in one of the rooms for ex children. The only bad thing was the insulation, or more the lack of it. You could feel the wind breezing through every door and window in the arpartment, more then you would expect in an old building, so the radiators was on max the entire week and spare duvets, blankets etc. were stuffed in all the openings. We would definitely stay here another time.

A very pleasant stay

I booked this apartment in February with some friends from university. It is located very close to the main bus terminal, and was easy to find due to signage. On arrival the office was closed because the staff were cleaning. However Philippe kindly rang the receptionist who then came down to give us our keys.

As well as being situated conveniently close to the bus terminal, the apartment is only a 1 minute walk to the slopes; which leads straight to the major ski lifts. As a bonus, the ski lift Plein Sud allowed us to ski down to the apartment's entrance at the end of the day which was very desirable. The apartment itself was well maintained when we arrived, and very toasty. There is one double bed, and a room with a double bed and single bunk bed above. In the living room the coach can be made into a bed. The table has enough seating to host 7 people, and the 6 of us who stayed could easily fit around it for dinner. The apartment is not exceptionally spacious, but neither cramped. You have to rent sheets and ben linen for 70 euros. For 6 of us this was only €12 each for the week which is reasonable. The kitchen is easily sufficient to cook for 7 people, and was well supplied with cooking equipment. There is also a dish washer. The toilet and shower are separate, and we never ran out of hot water. There is wifi available.

Regarding the area, the supermarket was close by with a Spar located down the road or a Carrefour nearby further up. There are many ski rentals to choose from. There are also plenty of restaurants to choose from, or clubs if you're feeling outgoing. Malaysia was a good time for us. We did not drive, however the main Val Thorens car park is also situated very nearby.

Overall we were all very pleased with our stay. The apartment's location and Philippe's hospitality made this a very pleasant experience. Val Thorens offers great skiing for families and younger visitors like ourselves.

Bien mais ...

... l’appartement n’etait pas propre à notre arrivée, il n’y a pas de chauffage dans la chambre des enfants (heureusement qu’on y était au printemps...), il n’y a pas de four à micro-ondes (je n’avais qu’à lire l’annonce en détails). Ça c’est pour les défauts.

Sinon, l’appartment Est astucieusement agencé, il est bien placé et bien équipé (sauf le four à micro onde). Les propriétaires sont sympas et disponibles. Enfin la « conciergerie » est un vrai plus !

Nous avons passé une bonne semaine dans cet appartement. Celui-ci est idéal pour 5 personnes mais un peu juste pour 7. Appartement très fonctionnel quand même avec des propriétaires a l'écoute de leurs locataires.
