Charming house, quiet, without vis-à-vis, located in a village with all amenities, 16 km from Dijon (supermarket Intermarché, withdrawal of money, gas station, bakery, newsagent, florist, bars , restaurant, river where you can swim, canal, football field, tennis, pony club, playground for the little ones, pharmacy, doctor, nurses, physiotherapist, osteopath, bus.

On a ground of 800 m2 completely closed of walls with his hut perched in the tree and barbecue, this old renovated home consists of:

on the ground floor :

-a kitchen open to the dining room, a living room, (French windows and windows all overlooking the garden)

-couleur, storage, wardrobe, toilets, and garage.

Upstairs :

3 rooms :

- Bedroom 1 (25M2) equipped with a bed of 160 cm with view on the garden

- Bedroom 2 (20m2) equipped with a bed of 160 cm and its space shower and washbasin and dressing + 1 single bed of 90 cm, garden side

- Bedroom 3 (12m2) of my son (15 years old) with his bed of 90 cm, garden view

- Large bathroom with garden view window: 2 sinks, bath and shower.

From the village you can take the bike paths, go jogging, along the Canal de Bourgogne, rent a boat, fish, golf La Chassagne is 4 km, the Prenois racing circuit is 10 km.

By car, Dijon and its riches (Museums, Gastronomic Fair etc ....) are 15 minutes.

Beaune and its vineyards 30 minutes.

The "climates" of the French vineyards of Burgundy have been inscribed by UNESCO as World Heritage of Humanity.

By train, Dijon is 1h40 from Paris - Gare de Lyon.

A beautiful stylish yet homely house with large private garden in a pretty village

We spent a week at Carole's place during our road trip. What a beautiful home - large comfortable rooms will all mod cons yet stylish and traditional. The large enclosed garden provides complete privacy with many places to relax at both sides of the house on the terraces or under the shady trees. The photographs don't do the property justice. Carole has created a beautiful home and is a lovely, friendly host doing everything she can to make sure you have a pleasant and relaxing stay. It is her family home but we didn't feel we were intruding and were able to relax and feel at home. Fluerey is a lovely village, it has all amenities you could need, an intermarche on the outskirts (5 min walk), a bar, bakery at the end of the street and a decent restaurant. There are beautiful canal walks on your doorstep and a clean river where your dog can swim. You could happily spend all day in the village, although Dijon and Beaune are close by as are all the wineries and castles to visit. We were lucky to find Carole's wonderful home and would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to explore the Burgundy region and looking for a hosts home to rent. Thank you Carole - we hope to return!

Amazing property and host!

Enjoyed a wonderful 7-day stay here and can't recommend it highly enough! The house just perfect for our family, including our 3-year old, with the walled garden and plenty of indoor and outdoor space for playing. The location was great -- walkable to the bakery, restaurant, bar and canal/towpath trail, while being and easy drive to Dijon, Beaune and the rest of the Cote D' Or wine country. Our host Carole was delightful - very hospitable, helpful and friendly!

An Excellent Stay in a Wonderful Home

Our trip to Fleurey sur Ouche was incredible. Carole was always available for questions and her responses were always prompt. The house is clean and in excellent shape, and the yard is completely walled, so it’s a great location for bringing pets and very private. The wifi was fast and reliable. The town was very charming and had all the amenities we could have asked for, including a bakery, a grocery store, and a couple of restaurants. Additionally, being so close to the canal was great for going on long walks. A 30-minute drive from Dijon, it was a great home base for exploring the region.

Our check-in time had to be later than we would have liked (18:30), due to the owner being away and her daughter having to travel from Dijon to check us in. So if check-in time is important for you, we recommend asking about it before you book. Carole was very flexible with the check-out time, however.

We definitely recommend this rental to anyone interested in exploring Burgundy.

Nun ja...

Das ist ein schönes altes Haus mit einem gewissen Charme und sehr sauber. Bei Ankunft bekommt man das Haus gezeigt und viel erklärt.

Z.B eine Baustelle, die aber für den privaten Gebrauch ist, der Mischer stand jedenfalls im Hof bereit. Einen Kamin, den man aber nicht benutzen darf. Die Treppe, die man nur mit Hausschuhen betreten darf. Die obere Toilette, die man nur für das kleine Geschäft nutzen darf. Die Dusche , die leider nur halb zu nutzen war, weil das andere Teil kaputt sei. Die Küche, auf deren Insel man keine Büchsen abstellen darf. Usw.

Das Haus wird wohl auch privat genutzt und so fühlt man sich auch darin. Überall hängen Fotos von Familienangehörigen.

Wem das alles nicht stört, kann gern hinfahren, denn es ist eine bezauberndere Ortschaft mit dem schönen Kanal an dem man wunderbar Rad fahren kann.

Owner's Response: Bonjour Régine, Je réponds à vos commentaires si bien détaillés: Vous êtes plus communiquante qu'avant votre séjour, car la veille de votre arrivée je ne savais toujours pas si vous seriez 2 ou 4 personnes, alors que vous aviez réservé et payé pour 2 et n'ayant pas réglé votre réservation dans les délais, le site a dû faire un rappel. Le jour d'arrivée malgré plusieurs messages de ma part je n'étais pas informée de l'horaire et vous êtes arrivés avec votre fille sans m'en avertir et sans avoir réglé le supplément, que j'ai dû vous demander de régler. A votre arrivée, je vous ai expliqué la présence de la bétonnière en raison de travaux dans une pièce qui ne gênait en rien votre séjour. La cheminée ne figure pas sur le descriptif de l'annonce, les voyageurs ne doivent pas s'en servir. Les toilettes de l'étage fonctionnent très bien pour la petite commission mais pour éviter d'aller à "la pêche" ce qui ne serait ni agréable pour vous ni pour moi je préfère prévenir, je dirai que ce sont des toilettes de nuit... Les jets de la douche (ne figurent pas dans le descriptif) sont actuellement inutilisables puisqu'ils créent une fuite mais ne pouvant les dissocier de l'installation, je préfère indiquer de ne pas toucher la manette en attendant réparation. En ce qui concerne le plan de travail de la cuisine, étant un peu fragile puisqu'il se raye facilement je vous ai indiqué gentiment de ne pas faire glisser votre cagette dessus. Je demande par mesure d'hygiène d'enlever ses chaussures pour monter à l'étage en raison des chambres et salle de bain. Par contre je suis toujours en attente du règlement pour dédommagement (c'est la 1ère fois que je demande un paiement supplémentaire) pour le nettoyage au pressing de la couette puisqu'après votre départ sans être informée de votre part, j'ai retrouvé mon lit tâché de sang : housse de couette, couette, protège-matelas ouf le matelas pas atteint ! Vous avez fumé dans la salle de bains puisque j'ai retrouvé des cendres sur le bord de la fenêtre, alors que le règlement interdit de fumer à l'étage et retrouvé aussi une dizaine de mégot dans le jardin et des casseroles très mal lavées. Je fais beaucoup d'effort afin d'accueillir les vacanciers pour qu'ils passent un agréable séjour dans ma maison d'habitation. J'ai respecté mes engagements jusqu'à être là pour votre départ précipité 1 heure après votre message et j'aurai apprécié que vous descendiez de votre voiture pour me dire au revoir ! Cdlt .

Belle maison et excellent accueil

Beaucoup de cachet pour cette maison agréable et grande. Merci à Carole pour son accueil . Un bon week end de cocooning à 6 + notre chien avec beaucoup de place pour ne pas être les uns sur les autres , y compris dans la cuisine ! Equipement de la maison très complet. Je recommande vivement.

Une belle maison, confortable, calme, reposante et joliment décorée...
