Dubbed “Molino de Villacelama”, this holiday home is part of the area's industrial heritage. It now serves as a reminder of days gone by, when the mill ground flour and later created electricity for more than 13 surrounding villages. Today, the house still maintains the character and charm of traditional architecture, natural materials and timeless craftsmanship.
Set among a delightful forest, the house sports a private patio and a large garden with sun loungers. Central heat, a washing machine and dryer plus mod cons such as a flat-screen TV with a DVD-player, and WiFi Internet are all on offer, combining with stylish furnishings to ensure your comfort and entertainment.
The open kitchen features all standard appliances plus a dishwasher, toaster and coffee machine. Eat in, or dine on the large furnished terrace and be refreshed by the clean air and tranquillity of the countryside.
Up to 4 people can sleep comfortably in the 3 bedrooms, one with a double bed and two with single beds. A baby cot is available on request and the bathroom features a shower and WC.
End cleaning, linen, towels and Internet are included in the rental price.

This former flour- and electric mill is set in the serene countryside 20 minutes outside Leon in Villacelama, just 3 minutes from the famed pilgrimage route of Camino de Santiago (Way of St James) leading to the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela in Galicia. In addition to old farmlands, barns and mills, the local area is home to numerous historic sites.
Within a short drive of the house are the vast Burgos Cathedral, with its sprawling Gothic architecture, the Leon Cathedral, a former 1st century palace built on top of historic Roman baths, the massive castle and cathedral of Segovia, and the famed walls of Avila.
There is a bar 200m from the house and you can sample the local cuisine in restaurants just 3km away, including regional specialties such as roast suckling pig and lamb, wild mushrooms and delightful pastries. The nearest grocery store is also an easy 3km away.
