We have just returned from a fabulous family holiday at Villa Calypso. The owner and Nicki got us off to a great start for our 2 week stay, and Nicki was always a text message away for any questions. There was plenty of room in the villa for our family of 4 adults and 4 children, the outside space was fantastic. The pool was a real bonus for us and was constantly in use by the children.
The location of the Villa is convenient for the beach, the shops, and restaurants are just a short drive away in Peyia. Within easy reach of Coral Bay, and Corallia Beach (slightly quieter) If you want shopping and the hustle and bustle, look no further than Kato Paphos Harbour and King of the Tombs Mall about 20 mins drive away.
The villa itself is well equipped with everything you could possibly wish for and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this villa, to family and friends.
Will definitely be looking to return one day in the future.
Villa Calypso is situated in the residential area of Peyia. This welcoming village clings to the rugged hills that act as a backdrop to this photogenic stretch of Paphos coastline. Having slumbered through the day, Peyia wakes up at night - as the evening air cools and taverna tables groan under the weight of fresh food, the village centre comes alive with the sounds of animated conversation.
The Blue Flag Coral Bay Beach, approximately 2km from the villa, offers a plethora of water sports and amenities. A little further along the coast is the quieter of the two beaches at Corallia Bay. Continue still further along the coast and you reach the natural rock caves of the area known locally as Sea Caves, great for snorkelling and popular with local scuba diving schools.
Other highlights include the tiny fishing hamlet of St Georges, with some of the island’s most memorable sunset views, and the protected Akamas Peninsula. Don’t miss the interesting architecture of the island’s former capital of Paphos, and try activities including mini golf, water sports and go-karting. Golfers will stay happy too, with Tsada Golf Course, Secret Valley Golf Course and Aphrodite Hills Golf Course within approximately a 40-minute drive of the villa.
