Palm trees and pristine sands surround this island paradise on the north-western coast of Madagascar. Situated in a beautiful building with two independent holiday apartments, this ground-floor flat is nestled in 7000sqm of scenic gardens just a stone’s throw from the beach.
Wireless internet is provided at no extra charge, and fans are available in every room. A washing machine and ironing table/iron are also provided.
A modern kitchen supplies you with every amenity from freezer to coffee maker, and a barbeque is also available on the terrace. You have your choice of vistas when joining the family for a meal – from the indoor dining area to the covered terrace, measuring a full 40sqm, you’ll enjoy views of the sea, the Katsepy peninsula and the surrounding mangroves.
Each of the three well-lit bedrooms holds a double bed, and there is plenty of storage space. A baby cot is also available if needed, plus an extra double bed in the living room. The bathroom features a tiled water heater, a WC and a bathtub.
Amborovy Beach is just 100m away, and the surrounding gardens offer many secluded spots for scenic walks. After a day of fun in the sun, you can relax in the living room in front of the flat-screen satellite TV or unwind listening to the radio.
Daily cleaning and all house linen are included in the rental fee, but please bring your own bath towels.
Private parking is available (renting a car is recommended). Smoking is allowed, but pets are not welcome.

Known for its hot tropical temperatures and diverse nature, this region of Madagascar affords a wide variety of attractions. Other than the usual beach activities, you can also rent boats near your apartment. Nearest is Amborovy Beach, and just beyond is the Cirque Rouge, a magnificent circular rock formation that brings to mind the reddish canyons of southwest America.
While you can reach Amborovy Beach within minutes by walking (one of the best beaches in the vicinity, offering a variety of local seafood), we do recommend renting a car for this property, as you will need to drive about 8km to reach the nearby city of Mahajanga. You will find the nearest supermarket and shopping districts there, as well as a varied local nightlife.
Mahajanga is a richly diverse city in culture and scenery. See the old town on foot, with its picturesque motifs, unique architecture and narrow streets with beautiful, small gardens. The seaside promenade is best walked at night, when you can take in the local culture with live music and a variety of cuisine.
