Welcome to the idyllic village of Kambos, in Crete’s Chania region, and this rustic chic house. Boasting colourful décor, a gorgeous stone terrace surrounded by greenery and modern conveniences, it’ll make you feel right at home while you relax on your holiday.
The house has two levels: On the first level there is a double bedroom and a bathroom with a shower and WC, plus an open-plan sitting, dining and kitchen area. From here, access the gorgeous stone terrace overlooking a gorge. Furnished with a table and 4 chairs, it is the perfect spot for a peaceful morning coffee or convivial dinner with the family. Cook up hearty meals in the neat kitchen, fitted with an oven, fridge coffee machine and full set of utensils, and put your feet up in front of the flat-screen TV or the fireplace in the lounge.
On the second level there’s a bedroom with two single beds, and a bathroom with a shower and WC. With a handy sofa bed in the downstairs living area, the house comfortably sleeps 5.
Do make the most of the gorgeous sea- and mountain views from the terrace, and note that local bars, restaurants and supermarkets are within just 200 metres for you to easily get to know Crete’s amazing gastronomy!

Highlights around the island include the remains of the Minoan Palaces of Knossos, Phaistos and Malia, discovering the waterfront towns of Chania and Rethymnon, and family-friendly excursions like a day at the Aquaworld Aquarium and Reptile Rescue Centre in Hersonissos. Don’t miss a trip to Elafonisi island, off Crete’s south-west coast. The pristine beach flanked by crystal-clear waters has made it a tourism hotspot, and in fine weather you can walk to the island through the shallow water. The local beaches are only a 10 minutes away and the renowned and exotic Elafonisi beach is 20 minutes drive from the house. Furthemore, there is a very beautiful local gorge which begins from the village of Kampos and ends up in a small secluded little pebble beach. It take about 1.5 hours to go down the gorge and another 2 hours to come back up, definately worth a visit!
