The picturesque department of Vosges welcomes you to France in this beautiful chalet overlooking its mountains, combining a rustic timber finish with all the modern comforts of home.
A washing machine and iron/ironing table are provided for your convenience, as well as electric heaters for year-round comfort. From coffee and toast for breakfast to a convivial family dinner, the fully-equipped kitchen provides you with every amenity needed to prepare your favourite dishes, and even a dishwasher.
One of the bedrooms holds a double bed, and the other features a single bed in addition to the two bunk beds. The sofa in the living room converts into an additional double if needed, giving the chalet a maximum sleeping capacity of seven. The sleek bathroom has a toilet and walk-in shower.
Plenty of seating and a television in the living room allow for relaxation indoors, but the best feature of this cosy chalet is the 32sqm balcony, supplied with furniture and giving you a breath-taking mountain view to the south.
Private parking is available. Smoking is allowed, but outside only, and pets can be welcome upon request.

The scenic Vosges mountains attract visitors year-round for various outdoor activities: Skiing in the winter at Gérardmer resort, and golfing in summer at nearby Epinal, both only 25km away (tip: while Gérardmer is of course famous for its twenty ski slopes and numerous winter sports, it also hosts a variety of summer activities, including water sports and crafts. Be sure to check out the options on offer during all months of the year).
But for those who prefer to stay closer to their cosy chalet, the town of Bruyère lies only 4km away, offering sightseeing opportunities such as an historic castle and synagogue and hosting the closest supermarket and various restaurants.
The countryside surrounding the quiet village of Fays also features several well-marked mountain biking and walking trails, sure to delight the nature enthusiast. These are able to be accessed directly from the private road leading to your chalet.
Lastly, do not leave the area without a visit to the inspiring waterfalls at Tendon, a mere 15km from your doorstep. Be sure to bring your camera, as they are certainly postcard-worthy!
