Whatever the season, you’re in for an action-packed holiday in this lush and exciting area, with activities on offer nearby including caving, cycling, fishing, swimming, and skiing. You’ll have everything you need at hand, with the closest supermarket 1 km away and a bar and restaurant just 20 m from the house, while there are plenty of opportunities to get to know the Romanian culture and flora and fauna.
Don’t miss a hike through the exquisite beauty of the Apuseni Mountain range and a visit to the imposing castle of Bran, sometimes thought to be the inspiration behind the castle of Bram Stoker’s Dracula (though this link is tenuous at best, the Gothic structure, situated at the entrance to the Rucăr - Bran passage, is well worth a visit).
