I grew up in this area and although I have lived in Malaysia for over twenty years, this beautiful place will always be home to me. The scenery never fails to take my breath away each time I return. Please feel free to contact me for first hand information.
Anne purchased this apartment in 2010
I wanted a home to come back to with my husband and two children where they could appreciate the charm and beauty of the area where I grew up. In this I succeeded!
Lovely shores set against the beautiful backdrop of the Mourne Mountains. In the words of the famous song, It truly is, 'where the mountains of Mourne sweep down to the sea'
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the apartment. It was cosy, well equipped, and with beautiful views out over the lough. It is well placed for exploring the area, with walks nearby and lovely drives along the coast. We dined in for most of our stay, making use of the well equipped kitchen, only eating out in Warrenpoint once.
Both Anne and AnneMarie were very helpful and keen to ensure that we enjoyed our stay, and our damage deposit was refunded promptly at the end of our stay.
We'd definitely like to come back again.
I'm from Ulster, but live in England, and for almost 10 years I have tried to convince my wife that it would be a great place for a family holiday. Usually, my wife wouldn't consider anywhere that couldn't guarantee at least 30C everyday, so it's been a long, hard sell. This year we took a leap of faith, based almost exclusively on the description and photos of the apartment - if we had to stay in-doors due to the much anticipated torrential rain then at least we'd have a nice place to hang out! Well it turns out we've just had the best family holiday yet. We rode horses, walked in beautiful forests, built sand castles on gorgeous beaches, visited a planetarium, rode dodgems at a funfair, saw tigers in a zoo, shopped in Dublin and woke a sleepy giant at a festival in Warrenpoint. And, we ate a ridiculous amount of really good ice-cream. Then at the end of the day we returned to this lovely apartment and watched the sun set on Carlingford Lough. And the apartment? It's exactly as it looks - clean, spacious, well equipped and very comfortable. Car parking within 10m of the front door. Overall, a great apartment in a great location.
stunning appartment in a drop-dead gorgeous location- spotless and with all mod cons! 5 star accomodation and highly recommended!
Beautiful property with stunning views of majestic Mourne Mountains and Lough Carlingford. This view changed with the weather but was always compelling. The property was very well equipped with everything we could possibly need and there was even a bottle of wine waiting for us when we arrived!
Lovely relaxing few days and we will be back!
A gorgeous apt with outstanding views and the perfect location to pick up something for dinner, walk in the part or tour Carlingford or Belfast. Would recommend without hesitation.
