Why Anne chose Newry
I wanted a home to come back to with my husband and two children where they could appreciate the charm and beauty of the area where I grew up. In this I succeeded!

An amazing location, fairly well stocked kitchen
Spent the Xmas holiday here visiting family in the area and couldn’t get over the views. The cupboard had some great basics as well as some choice ingredients left behind by other guests. I made a couple of dinners and contributed to Xmas dinner and had pretty much what I needed. A great spot to use as a home base and away from the hustle and bustle
Thank you for taking the time to write a review. Delighted you enjoyed your Christmas away from home. Hope we can welcome you back in the future.
One of the most beautiful places I've ever been
The photos in the listing don't do the beauty of this setting justice. I would recommend this place simply for the view, but the accommodation was very clean and comfortable as well. It was probably the best kitchen we've had to cook in in our 25-day tour of Ireland. There's a clothes dryer as well (not frequent for VRBOs in Ireland) so that was a lovely surprise. The neighborhood was excellent for walking, and while in the rental I don't recall hearing cars at all.
It's obvious the owners take pride in this place. I didn't want to leave, and would return in a heartbeat!
Thank you very much for the wonderful review. I am thrilled to hear you all enjoyed it so much and I do hope you will will return.
Great views and location, super clean and perfect spot for our tour of Northern Ireland. Incidentally, a very beautiful part of the world - go and see the Giant's Causeway, Carrick-a-Rede, Carrickfergus and Belfast. Thank you to our host Anne, who was friendly and very responsive. Highly recommend.
Thank you very much for taking time to write a review. We appreciate your kind comments and are delighted you enjoyed your stay.
Excellent, highly recommendable
Spacious, clean, well kept and maintained. Good location. Quiet and peaceful. Walking distance from town.
Your review is very much appreciated. Thank you. We are delighted you enjoyed your stay.
We rate this property 4.5 star. We stayed in Rostrevor from June 8th through to June 11th. The host, Anne, was very helpful in organizing our entry into this beautiful property oasis on Carlingford Lough. The place was well appointed and very well kept. The neighbours were a joy to talk to and made us feel welcome. Overall the town of Rostrevor is quaint and beautiful. We would not hesitate to recommend Anne's Place to anyone wanting to visit this magical place. P.S. Anne you were correct about the laneway leading to the village was more than worth the walk which we did several times.
It is a pleasure to hear that you enjoyed your stay. Thank you for your very kind review. I do hope you will return.
Beautiful apartment, super clean, stunning views
We highly recommend this apartment to anyone who wants to explore the region of the Mourne mountains and Carlingford Lough. Firstly the whole process of booking it and the communication with the owner Anne went very smoothly. Anne would answer any questions we had about the area, restaurants etc... When we arrived we were blown away by the stunning views and the great location. Also, the apartment was perfectly clean, the kitchen fully equipped, the beds nicely made. It really was a beautiful home from home!! Restaurants and pubs are only a couple of minutes walk away. All thumbs up from us for this beautiful Rostrevor apartment!!
