The “Haussmann Palace” apartment is situated in the second floor with elevator in one of the most recognizable features of Paris “A Haussmanian building” in the heart of the prestigious 8th district of Paris, just a few steps away from the Eiffel Tower, the Champs Elysee and the Seine River.
Built in the mid 19th century by the Baron Haussmann during his bold redesign of the city, the building, and thus the apartment are an integral part of one of the city's most important historical moments. The building forms part of that immediately identifiable Parisian architectural landscape, displaying both the regal and the modern in one structure.
Inside, the apartment mirrors the building's blend of modernity and tradition. Every room provides exactly the mood and tone you'd desire from it. This is evident right away in the lobby entrance to the apartment. Here you are welcomed to a sanctuary of regal warmth and convenient comfort.
From the lobby, you enter into the grand salon, offering signs of high class in the form of richly toned furniture and regal molded ceilings as well as contemporary chic and functionality in art and décor. With 377 square feet of space, there is ample room to stretch out and relax after a day wandering through the halls of Parisian museums. And with a working fireplace, a mural LCD television and loads of plush seating, comfort is guaranteed.
The Haussmann Palace also offers a stately office centered on its pièce de résistance - a Louis XV desk. Here you can write postcards or emails to loved ones at home, boasting of the wonderful sights you've seen or, catch up on a bit of work while abroad. Regardless of the activity, the deep colors, extensive library, warm lighting and beautiful fireplace will inspire you.
In the kitchen, modern and fully equipped, you can cook like at home. You will find a full-sized fridge, a stove, an oven, a microwave, a Nespresso coffee machine and a dishwasher. The fresh and bright colors will keep you coming back here to prepare those sublime French style breakfasts, simple packed lunches for sightseeing and gourmet dinners created using delicacies found in the outdoor markets of Paris.
The dining room, off the kitchen, is its own type of traditional beauty altogether. With parquet flooring and the same molded ceiling work, you could swear you were sat in the lap of luxury of a bygone era. The table seats up to 10 guests comfortably and the room has a huge amount of space. Enjoy your gourmet meals in this fine room with its warm chandelier and candelabras.
The master bedroom is a haven of comfort and relaxation. The antique furniture, rich tones, sheer curtains and drapes and king sized bed all ensure a restful night's sleep. Rejuvenate here after long days spent in the Louvre and D'Orsay museums.
The second and third bedrooms are much the same as the master. With warm décor and rich colors, these spaces ensure total solitude. The second bedroom is set with two single beds, which can be pushed together for more room. The third bedroom is equipped with a double bed.
In the fully equipped bathroom, you'll find all the creature comforts you'd expect from a 5-star hotel. There is a full sized bathtub, double sinks for added convenience and generous space. Additionally, there is a shower room for morning convenience. Equipped with a shower stall and sink, getting ready to see the sights of Paris will be just a bit faster.

I love this part of Paris.. Yes its the most chichi area, but its for a good reason... Its central to everywhere - the heart of Paris, and so stepping out is an easy thing to do and it doesnt matter which direction you start your journey. As usual, Holidays France Rentals has a unique property. Its really well furnished, completely perfectly appointed, and room to spare. Being in the roof/attic has its challenges... (The design of the bathroom is interesting) and there is another small set of stairs after the elevator... So if you are infirm or have serious health issues, this is not for you. But if you are fit (I'm over 60) its a fantastic little place.
The Haussmann Palace is situated in the luxurious 8th arrondissement - one of the most wealthy and elite in the city. Walk Etoile, stop and climb to the top of the Arch of Triumph and from there you can marvel at the rich beauty of the Champs Elysees, with the Place de la Concorde on one side at the end where it meets the Tuileries Gardens.
Turning right from the Champs Elysées you soon will see the Eiffel Tower, another high vantage point on a clear day. If you feel like having the dinner of a lifetime make a reservation (a must) at the Jules Vernes restaurant in the Eiffel Tower - even French people go there for special occasions.
From the apartment you can quickly reach Place de La Concorde, the Louvre and D'Orsay museums, the Orangerie and the Avenue Montaigne where you can visit the best designer shops - Dior, YSL, Ungaro, Lancel, Estrada, Todd's, Cartier, Hermés and so on. Subways, buses, or taxis, are close by but walking is recommended as the most enjoyable to see this part of Paris.
Remember to look up and take in the one of a kind architecture of Paris. There is no other city like it!
