You will find a beautiful apartment located in a small apartment complex that has been renovated. It offers 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Very bright and quiet, it is located next to Praca das Flores, a square with many cafes and restaurants in the heart of Bairro Alto/Principe Real. The apartment is comfortable and well equipped with Wi-Fi, cable TV, a washing machine, and hair dryer. The district is located in Lisbon city centre. There is only one apartment per floor, so they are quiet.
I am French and American. I lived in New York before moving to Paris. I have lived in Lisbon since 2013. I love sharing my city with my guests, and I will be happy about offering advice about things to do and places to eat or drink, as well as some good tips to enjoy the most your stay in Lisbon.
Glenn Cooper purchased this apartment in 2013
I left Paris and chose Lisbon. I decided to live in this place, in the heart of Principe Real/Bairro Alto. This district offers a central location close to everything Lisbon offers. It is very quiet, and there are a wide selection of restaurants, cafes, and shops. Especially, you will find beauty and history wherever you go.
It boasts a central, quiet location, easily accessible to everything Lisbon offers. It is close to all restaurants, cafes, and nightclubs.
This was a great little self-catering flat in a quiet, mostly residential, neighborhood with easy walking access to many parts of the city. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen well-equipped for a ten-day stay, and the space, though small by American standards, was more than adequate for two couples. The top floor unit we rented was light and bright and provided some nice views out the windows. There are a couple of markets, fruit and veggie stores, and convenience stores within a block or two of the flat. Additionally, there are some great restaurants and a couple of bars nearby. Laundry facilities are next door and easy to get into. The owner was friendly and easy to reach if we needed him.
Note that this is a truly self-catering flat. Bed and bath linens were provided but we had to purchase everything else we needed for our stay, from food to toilet paper. We were given fresh towels half way through our visit.
I would stay here again!
We spent four weeks in Spain and Portugal and Glen's flat was the last stop on our vacation. In addition to previous comments,I will add some of my own.We are a family of four adults traveling and we found Glen"s condo more than adequate. It was a bonus to have an additional bathroom.I found the quality for detail,to be exceptional. This was the only condo that had international channels on cable ,out of the four condos we rented Also, Glenn has a wonderful assistant Shana ,who comes daily with fresh towels and assistance,if needed. Also ,the email response was lightning fast! Glen was the only owner to follow up and asked,if we needed any anything. This was greatly appreciated.Thank you once again for providing a dream experience in Lisbon.
This was my first experience of Lisbon and we couldn't have picked a better location.
Glenn was really helpful and responsive. Plenty of communication on the run up to our break and during it. He even acquired a kettle for us at our request.
The apartment was lovely. The two bathrooms was perfect given 4 women were trying to get ready at the same time!
It was very clean, beds were comfortable, wifi was a bonus. We could even hook up our iPhones to the stereo to play music
If you are considering visiting, be mindful that this apt is 2 floors up and the stairs are narrow and steep. Not for the elderly or infirm.
I would definitely visit again and Lisbon itself is just to die for. We found everyone so helpful and friendly, food and wine was fantastic and all prices were reasonable...
My apartment complex is located in the heart of Principe Real/Bairro Alto, one of the most sought-after places in Lisbon. It boasts a central, quiet location, a few steps away from the city. All means of transport are located nearby. The area offers many restaurants, bars, cafes, shops, and small shops.
