Beautiful Country House with spacious garden and a beautiful pool deep in a quiet and panoramic setting. This is a beautiful stone-built country house completely restored few years ago in a typical Lucchese style. It belonged to an important family from italian a aristocracy … it's said it rises on the rest of the ancient chapel, dated back to 1600…
The property is detached, completely surrounded and secluded. Very private. Two (automatic) gates open to the parking on the backside of the villa which consists of two large floors both overlooking the large lawn of the garden which from the house leads you to the pool… Stunning views on the town and on the mountains surrounding the area.. From Appennini and majestic Apuan Alps.
The restoration exalts wood beamed ceilings and terra-cotta tiled floors as the most important local tradition requires. Walls are stone and coloured painted to give a happy, fresh and warm atmosphere.

The road to approach is a countryside road. In this part of Tuscany, countryside road means that from the main street you take a small road.. which normally in its last couple of miles is uphill, windy, and with some turnings and closings. So, being visitors not familiar with this kind of roads, it is always recommended not to hire enormous large vans. Everything can be easily checked using google maps and street view with the name Lucca, Via di Vicopelago, Pozzuolo.
it is important to know that in this specific case, the road is completely paved up to the house door.
About the villa Composition:
. GROUND FLOOR
Entrance onto the living room furnished with a beautiful long table and two sofas in front of television and fireplace. The living room opens onto the fully equipped kitchen. There is also a half bathroom (wc sink not shower but washing machine) on this level. From here a stone staircase (16 steps) leads you to the night area
on the first floor.

The first thing you have to know is that I am not the Owner but the Property Manager. I was born in Lucca 46 years ago and have been living here ever since... I think I will stay in Lucca for ever.. Travel a lot but always return.. Lucca is home for me. The villa lies on the top of a hill in the south side of Lucca countryside. Only 4,5 km away from the motorway junction and 6 km .. to the historic centre. The approaching road, despite of its nature of countryside road, is completely paved until the villa. Pay attention please: it is a countryside road. Uphill, turnings closings and windings so please not rent a huge van.
The villa is very well set and it gets sun from sunrise to sunset… You can take unforgettable walking all around in the most Tuscan vegetation… olive oil trees … At the feet of the hill, you find a tennis courts, restaurants, pizzerias, supermarkets.. everything you need to have a very pleasant time.

. Payment Details: Deposit 15% upon booking, Balance Upon Arrival. Visa and Mastercard are accepted.
. Self Catering Property: no staff, no maid, no breakfast nor meals, no hotel services. No daily stays: minimum a week.
. Lease in accordance with the italian Law 431 - 9 dic 1998 art.1, comma 2 letter c).
