Private cabin in the woods! New Hot Tub!
average rating of 4.75 based on 12 reviews

So peaceful, cozy, quiet, and fun!

  • 5 of 5

We had a great QUIET, RELAXING, AND FUN weekend at the cabin! It was clean, cozy, and very secluded! The hot tub was perfect and we will probably go back again when they Re-open The Fall Creek Inn if not before. There is not Internet, or phone so we were a bit scared when the hail storm of the century hit but it came and went quickly thank goodness! The catch and release pond was a nice treat! We love to fish and it was only about 100 steps from the Cabin! We caught large mouth bass, and several good size brim!(bigger than my hand). The only negative thing I can say is the Hot Water Heater must be pretty small because I had a cold shower after my wife each day.....Make sure you go grocery shopping before you head to the cabin because their is't a grocery store within a 20-30min of the cabin. Our Host was very easy to work with and left us great instructions, and suggestions. We will go again!!!!

From Seattle with Love

We have stayed at Piney Creek Cabins on several occasions!

The Cabins are so neat ! Surrounded by trees and wildlife... Deer come to the pond in the mornings so neat to see them ! The rustic feel is so comforting.

I will be planning on staying there again on my next trip to Tennessee.

The owners were so nice and welcoming to us

Ideal Escape the Hemlock

  • 4 of 5

Mom, brother and his wife, myself and my husband stayed at the Hemlock. This place is a long way from stores and cell connection. We arrived in the fall middle of October. The weather was cold. The cabin sits back in a secluded spot with a pond. It is a cozy cabin with a rustic feel. It was clean. They offer some reading material if you don't have your own and basic t.v. channels. However, this is a place one would come to get away from the normalcy of life as we know. (Rat Race) It is so quiet. Loved the cabin especially with a porch you can sit and relax while enjoying the sites and sounds around you. Was excited to have a fire place being from so. Florida where you don't need one but there was a little problem with the gas fire place and could not use it. I'm sure it was easily fixable but circumstances did not allow us the use at the time. So we used the heater but if you are cold downstairs and adjust warmer then the upstairs got a little to warm because heat rises we just bundle up a little more downstairs. This is a place you come to just relax with no agenda. Next time we come back it will be with one agenda and that is to do nothing go nowhere. Just be sure when you pack your bible that it dose not look like theirs. OOOPS. Sorry Sylvia. Sylvia and the women that keep the place do a great job and are very friendly and helpful. Thank you Sylvia you are a sweet lady.

The cabin was nice but the backyard neighbors have what sounded to be several dozen roosters that crowed constantly all day long well into the night that along with gunfire did not make it a very peaceful getaway

Great Cabin

  • 5 of 5

The cabin was as advertised and offered everything we needed. The owners were very nice and even helped us last minute when our plans changed. If you are visiting the Fall Creek Falls State Park and want a quiet cabin away from the park crowds then this is it. My girls enjoyed catching frogs while I fished in the catch and release pond. A small store close to the cabins has a small grill menu and was perfect for us. Were we looking for a simple meal and not the $21.95 buffet at the State Park. The cabin does have a kitchen that we used for a few meals as well. Great place to stay while exploring the waterfalls of Tenn.
