We were greeted with warm smiles at the port by Christine and Christian late at night on our arrival on the island. They kindly drove us to the apartment, showed us around and even filled the fridge with food for breakfast and some drinks to celebrate our arrival on Patmos that night!
The apartment has the most incredible views from the large front balcony, across the little marina, over to Skala, Chora and the Monastery. We sat admiring our views each morning, every evening and at night, when the town lights up. The bedroom opens up onto the balcony - it is bright, airy and has these magnificent views to boot!
The apartment has everything you might need in terms of crockery and cutlery in the kitchen for self-catering - although with so many wonderful little tavernas and spots to grab a bite, you don't want to spend too much time inside.
Christine and Christian were wonderful hosts. They were on hand to offer advice when needed but left us to our own devices, until we called. They even kindly drove us back down to the port on the night of our departure, as we tearfully said goodbye to the island.
Definitely book - you will not regret it!
