StuDo's Nest is a well furnished self catering holiday destination in picturesque Cellardyke, in Fife, and is located at 6, Dove Street. It is a first floor apartment in a quiet culdesac, comprising spacious lounge with dining recess, modern bathroom, double bedroom and kitchen. Thoughtfully fitted throughout with modern furniture and appliances, this flat is ideal for parties of 2 or 4. With a double bed in the bedroom and a comfortable fold down sofa bed in the sitting room it can sleep up to 4. This first floor apartment has been fully modernised and is tastefully fitted throughout with close attention to detail.

You will find StuDo's Nest ideal for holiday accommodation in the East Neuk of Fife. If you want a seaside holiday, shore side walks, golf, water sports, healthy eating and a drink in one of the excellent pubs in the surrounding area, then Cellardyke is the place for you. From Cellardyke harbour and from the top level of the garden at StuDo's Nest there are glorious views over to the May Island.

With street parking in Dove Street, or close by at the harbour if you travel by car, you will not have far to carry your luggage. On entering StuDo's Nest you will find a charming apartment in property build around the early 1800's.

The apartment is well equipped with TV / DVD combo (with BT Sport and Netflix), stereo radio, WiFi (BT Infinity), hair dryer, iron and ironing board. The furniture in the sitting/dining room is of high standard as is the bedroom. The bathroom has been fully modernised with a new shower enclosure suite, and in the kitchen guests will find everything they need.

About Stuart Morrow

Stuart and Doreen Morrow, from Glasgow, always enjoyed holidays in the East Neuk of Fife. They purchased the apartment in November 2013 with the plan to create a self catering holiday property that would provide a high standard of accommodation.

Why Stuart Morrow chose Fife & St Andrews

Dove Street is unique. The properties were built for the fishing community in the early 1800's. In the winter when the boats could not go out, the people lived on pigeons, hence the name Dove Street. StuDo's Nest is in the heart of this history and Stuart and Doreen are proud to own and to offer their holiday home to guests who wish to explore the East Neuk of Fife.

What makes this apartment unique

The problem we have with guests is they won't want to leave and can't wait to come back. Not a problem really !!!

The flat we stayed in was very comfortable and equipped to our needs. We would recommend it to anyone. It was a lovely area to stay in. Plenty of places to eat within walking distance. Lots if places to visit and enjoyed the walks we choose to do. We would like to come back next year.

Perfect in everyway. Superb location, immaculate, well equipped and welcoming.

This was our first visit to this area and we couldn't have booked better accommodation. The setting of Celkardyke was stunning and so accessible for visiting the surrounding area. The flat was cosy but plenty of room for a family of 4. It was so well equipped for self catering, had plenty of towels and bedding and a great wi-fi reception. It was also immaculate! Stuart and Doreen were amazing hosts before and during our stay and the welcoming touches of biscuits, fresh flowers and wine were much appreciated. We also found it easy to park our car. We will definitely return and highly recommend.

Beautiful wee flat!

The flat was spotlessly clean. On arrival we were welcomed with wine and shortbread which was a lovely touch. Stuart contacted me several times just to check all was ok and to offer any assistance if needed. Flat is in a lovely wee street and close to lots of wee restaurants. The play park just a 5minute walk away was perfect for our 1year old daughter. A lovely home in a lovely wee town. Will most definitely recommend.

Very Clean and comfortable.

Owners so attentive to detail. The lovely bottle of wine, cookies and flowers were so welcoming. They also called to make sure we had arrived and had no problems.

Lovely flat, beautiful location

We've had a wonderful week in this lovely and very cosy flat!

Everything you need and more.

Location is superb.

Good supermarket close by and also plenty of restaurants and pubs on walking distance.

Very good location for golfers as there are more courses as days in a month!

Great little spot.

We both very much enjoyed our time here.. cellerdyke and the surrounding area is a great place for a break. The only let down was not being able to visit the isle of may as our boat trip was cancelled.. Maybe next year.

Within the Cellardyke/Anstruther Burgh there is a 9 hole golf course, leisure centre at Waid Academy, sandy beaches as well as fascinating rock pools to investigate. A kiddies play park can be found 400 meters from StuDo's Nest and in Anstruther, Bankie Park has football and tennis facilities together with kids playground equipment. Anstruther has a large selection of shops at the harbour side, pubs and restaurants offering a wide range of food to suit all tastes. Why not enjoy a fish supper from the world famous Anster Chip Shop, eating in or as you take in the sights and sounds of the harbour.

Along the coast from Crail to Elie are the other East Neuk towns of Pittenween and St. Monans. Part of the Coastal Path runs from Crail to Elie and is a favourite with walkers. All these fishing villages are exciting to explore and offer up their own unique characteristics. As well as the Coastal Path a good bus service links all of these towns.
