Bright apartment in the very center of Annecy, renovated, on the 3rd floor of a building overlooking the Vasse canal. The terrace can relax on sun loungers and enjoy a barbecue at 4!

All services of the apartment ensure a comfortable stay in a modern and romantic setting.

The kitchen offers many facilities (ceramic hob, hood, multifunction oven, dishwasher, fridge / freezer, microwave oven, Nespresso coffee machines and classic, electric kettle, toaster, raclette, device pancakes, .. .) and all the necessary utensils, if the urge to concoct delicious dishes, you tease. A large table allows comfortable 4 meals.

The living room opens onto the terrace with bay window. A sofa is easily converted into a comfortable bed for 2 people. The 47 inch LED TV offers over 200 channels to enjoy fully. WIFI internet access high speed broadband provided.

The room is available in a romantic and elegant design. A king size bed (new Simmons bedding), reading lights and an LED display for the utmost in comfort. A corner office with the necessary stationery.

The suspended WC are independent.

The bathroom is spacious, with a bathtub and a large cupboard closet. Everything needed is provided with hair dryer, iron and ironing board, washing machine, dryer, soap and shampoo, sewing kit and first aid kit.

Trade with travelers

We live in Annecy in the same neighborhood, from our childhood. We welcome travelers ourselves and give them all necessary information about Annecy and the region to help them have a pleasant stay. We are available to our tenants when needed.

The neighborhood

We are located in the very pedestrian center, 2 steps from the lake, the canal. One walks there with pleasure, whether in the old town walking the streets of the historical center or along the shopping streets shops. The old quarters of market is held 3 times a week, the flea market every last Saturday of the month. For your shopping, Franprix and Monoprix are a 1-minute walk. The commercial city center is 5 minutes walk and the paquier, the garden of Europe, offering the maginifique view of the lake and mountains, and access to all water activities.

Transport network

Ideally located between the lake (5 minutes walk) and train station (7 minutes on foot), 300m from the tourist office (bonlieu).

Bus service between Geneva airport and bus station.

You come by car, we can offer you a parking space in the basement, secure, 100m from the building! (50 € / week)

Local biking in the building.

Quick release drive 30m from the entrance of the building.

Best location in the Venice of the French Alps!

The apartment is in a perfect location, situated in Annecy's historic heart and walking distance to picturesque canals, medieval castle, Annecy Lake as well as vibrant cafes/restaurants, markets and boutiques. The apartment is beautifully decorated and fitted with all modern utilities. Christophe and Stephanie were wonderful hosts and arranged car parking close to the apartment. Highly recommended!

What an amazing apartment!

Christophe is a world class host. We can't say enough about how much attention is paid to the details in this apartment in beautiful Annecy. This was our fourth visit to Annecy since 2006, and by far, Christophe's apartment is THE best place we have stayed in. In fact it's the best apartment we have EVER rented! From the welcome snacks and bottle of wine to the multitude of towels and soaps and shampoo-nothing was missed. I think the ONLY thing that we could not find in the apartment was a measuring cup-LOL. We highly recommend staying at Christophe's place-you will NOT be disappointed. I told Christophe that he could teach a course to people that rent out their apartments on VRBO, on how to do it to perfection. We have never stayed in a place (and we've rented alot of apartments around the world) that was so clean, and well appointed. The location is perfect, within a few minutes walk of everything in Annecy. It's quiet and in a secured building. Rent this apartment the next time you visit Annecy-trust me-it will be a very wise decision.

A fantastic place to stay - great location, great apartment, very helpful owner

The apartment was very nice and seemed newly refurbished. It was well decorated, very clean, with lots of appliances including dishwasher, cooker/hob, washing machine, bath/shower, balcony with electric retractable awning, electric shutters to windows, and plenty of storage space. It isn't air conditioned but there was a fan in the room.

Christophe the owner was very helpful and met us when we arrived, even helping us with our luggage. There was good helpful instructions about the apartment, and also useful information about what to do in Annecy. On our arrival we even got biscuits that were home made by his wife!

We also paid a small additional amount for car parking; this was located about a two minute walk away, and involved a car lift down to a basement parking space. Though tight, we managed fine with our Land Rover Discovery so shouldn't be a problem for anyone happy to do this.

The location is really good and right in the heart of the City, but not noisy which was important to us with a 5 month old baby. It's on the third floor but there's a lift, though it isn't wheelchair friendly as there are three steps to get to the ground floor lift.

We fell in love with Annecy for all it's glorious history, the fabulous and regular street market, wealth of eateries, the lake and so much more. We will definitely be going back.

Having chosen Christope's apartment from the many alternatives on the "Homeaway" site we were not disappointed. Any e-mails to Christophe were answered quickly and precisely and any arrangements made were carried out efficiently, meeting times etc. The apartment was exactly as described. We particularly enjoyed the evening sun whilst sitting on the small balcony with a glass of wine, listening to the river below and imagining the lives of the occupants in the typically French apartments across the river. The area felt safe and secure as was the apartment. There are lots of shops, bars, restaurants, a theatre and a cinema nearby for the enjoyment of the visitor. Most importantly a superb bread shop and supermarket two streets away providing all we needed. The town itself is compact and easily navigated. The tourist office is on the promenade at the end of the street Rue du Pacquier. The promenade itself is pleasant walk down to the Casino and swimming area. There are numerous sailing options to view the lake, villages and mountains. The old town is very interesting with its arched walkways full of shops and restaurants. The jail provides a good photo opportunity, especially from the bridge, and at night when it is lit up, although it had some scaffolding around it when we where there in early June 2016. We would confidently recommend this property to prospective renters. Many thanks Christophe, BH

Superbe / highly recommended !

Annecy est une petite ville merveilleuse et les accommodations de cet appartement reflètent très bien le paysage magnifique. D'une propreté immaculée et d' un charme indéniable, nous avons été impressionnés non seulement par sa situation sur le bord du canal mais aussi par la qualité et le confort du décor, des meubles et accessoires. L' accueuil des proprios est celui qu' on offre a sa famille quand ils nous visitent. Les petites attentions sont nombreuses et on se sent tout de suite comme chez nous.

Christophe's apartment is certainly one of the best we have stayed in during 20 years of renting through Homeaway. It is located within steps of the old town with its labrynth of medieval streets and canals, as well as a few minutes walk from the railway and bus stations. The balcony overlooking a canal adds to its charm. The apartment is in a secure building and is furnished with modern, high quality furniture and equipment, a very comfortable bed and lots of space. Everything that a traveller might need is provided for and there was a generous welcome package waiting for us on arrival. Old Annecy itself is a delight to wander around in, especially on market days when it buzzes with energy. The castle overlooking the town is a must visit and a cruise around the lake is very pleasant. There is lots to interest both adults and children. There are frequent trains and buses to nearby attractions, including Chambery which is also very charming, and direct trains to Paris and Lyon. During our 10 days there, we didn't need a car.

In summary, we recommend both Annecy and Christophe's apartment without reservation and hope one day to return there ourselves.
