The beach of Las Canteras is the main urban beach of the city of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. Frequented throughout the year, it is the beach preferred by most of the city's inhabitants and foreigners who visit it, who can enjoy it at any time of the year thanks to the mild climate. The beach of Las Canteras has just raised the flag of the Q of Tourism Quality and adds to this award, the Blue Flag of the European Union, the ISO Certificate of Environmental Management and the Universal Accessibility Certificate, which makes it one of the the best rated beaches in Spain. Amazing apartment and location

This apartment had everything I needed for a self catering holiday. However the location is even better. Walk around the corner and there is the beach. You are also surrounded by shops. The only down side to my holiday was that I slipped on the stairs and broke my wrist. I contacted Inmaculada, who came straight away. She was absolutely amazing and stayed with me the whole time. Nothing was too much trouble for her and she checked on me every day. A super, super lady. Will definitely be returning. Las Palmas is amazing too and so was the weather.

A lovely lady, but an apartment with problems!!! Mainly the neighbours from hell !!!

It's with a sad heart that I write this review as Inmaculada was one of the nicest people I have met. Even though she had injured her foot and was on crutches, she came to our assistance on more than one occasion.

The apartments position is first class for foot access to the beach and city.It was very clean and tidy. However it is small, big enough for two, but three?? Also it is tired,the linens were so old we had to buy a bedsheet. The bed was so uncomfortable that we had to use the mattress from the sofa bed on top to make it usable.

The kitchen is functional, nice fridge freezer and two ring hob/microwave. But again tired and everything needs updating.

The bathroom again was functional, but again desperate for a little TLC.

I feel mean in commenting on these issues as the cost of the apartment was not exorbitant.

However the main problem with the apartment is its neighbours from hell !!! The people in 502 came home most night's/ morning around 3am and made so much noise as to wake not just us, the rest of the block, but the dead! Inmaculada came to our rescue and reported this to the apartment residence committee and their landlord. But until this is sorted I would not recommend anyone stay here until this is rectified.

Again I would like to say that the apartment with a little time and money spent on it would be wonderful. With new neighbours it would be great! This along with Inmaculada would make it first class.

Extremely diverse and beautiful island.

For all those who want to rent a particular apartment, I can confirm that it pays off. One small problem that we came across was, that the washing machine only washed the lightweight wash modes, so that the dusty and sweaty hiking clothes remained quite dirty. However, many thanks to the host who was very kind and helpful.

Our family had a nice time there, the location is perfect to take off in any direction. We rented a car, but the bus service is very well organized as well.

Across the road is a small business where you can buy hot meals, it's very affordable and tasty. In the near surroundings you will find a large number of bars, restaurants and shops.

When driving in the mountains, I recommend you to visit the cozy local restaurants. South of the island the sun shines all the time so that you can enjoy the warmth in any case. We had a very active and fun holiday.
