The beauty of Bath is not only in its spectacular Georgian buildings, but in the surrounding ring of green hills and trees. Every thoroughfare has a glorious green backdrop. This beautiful first floor 2 bedroom Georgian apartment near the Royal Crescent and within the city centre, uses foliage to highlight its lofty ceilings and spectacularly tall windows. Awarded 4 star gold by the Tourist Board.

Set on a corner of a handsome terrace and overlooking a pretty park, the apartment has large windows on three sides which makes it particularly bright and airy. A lobby with elegant chandelier leads to all rooms. The spacious and tranquil living room has a large leather sofa and two deep armchairs. There is a TV and a selection of books in alcoves which are either side of a magnificent original marble fireplace with a sunburst mirror over. A round dining table and tall leather chairs seats 4.

The large master bedroom in green and gold has a plush 6' bed with two vast windows with their original shutters, overlooking mature trees in the park. The green vista is reflected in a resplendent mirror over a large chest of drawers. A fitted wardrobe and another tall chest with dressing mirror provide plenty of storage. Over another wonderful marble fireplace is a TV for those lazy mornings in bed.

The second bedroom in shades of silver and gold has a vast shuttered window and two single beds that can zip and link to be a 6' bed. There is a large chest of drawers.

The cream galley shaped kitchen is fully fitted with black granite surfaces. Windows overlook the back of the Royal Crescent and lovely Georgian architecture. A breakfast bar has 4 smart stools and there is plenty of kitchen equipment.

There is a well lit utility area leading to a large bathroom with travertine mosaic tiling containing a bath, corner shower, hand basin and WC.

This is a beautiful and historic part of Georgian Bath, in between the Royal Crescent and The Circus with lots of excellent facilities on the doorstep. Right around the corner at the pedestrianised Margaret's Buildings, are a delightful selection of restaurants, gorgeous boutiques and art galleries. In the other direction to St. James Square, there is a newsagents, chemist, Italian deli and coffee shop, Cavendish Cooks for home cooked take away, hairdressers and organic green-grocers and florist. The nearest supermarket is the Co-Op, just a couple of minutes walk. It is a delightful stroll to the Assembly rooms and the Museum of Costume and Bath city centre, where you can discover older historic Bath, and more wonderful shopping, dining, museums and galleries. The lovely peaceful Royal Crescent Gardens and Victoria Park are across the street and have indoor/outdoor tennis courts, botanical gardens, outdoor children's playground and mini golf. The Approach 18 hole golf course is 5 minutes walk away and has wonderful views. The Bath Spa railway and bus station are a 15 minute walk away. A car parking permit for 1 car is available allowing you to park in resident`s bay on the neighbouring streets.

Bath break

Lovely apartment and very central. Was able to park (permit provided which was very useful) and just walked everywhere. Some basics provide which was a lovely touch.
