A fine surprise awaits behind the façade of this Georgian terrace, as you step up into a bright, spacious, and contemporary room that stylishly combines a living area, dining area and kitchen using honey-coloured hardwood floors, comfy sofas and chair, a large flat-screen TV with DVD and a smart fitted kitchen with all the mod-cons, newly refurbished in August 2012 and further refurbishments in 2013 . This intriguing house is arranged over 5 and a half floors, has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, cinema room and is around the corner from the famous Royal Crescent and Kings Circus.
There are 2 bedrooms and each bedroom has it's own floor. A staircase from the lounge rises to the upper 2 ½ floors, of which the first is a master bedroom, with a white decorative fireplace, 2 large sash windows to the front and a superking size bed with superior quality mattress. Additionally there is a wardrobe and en-suite shower room. On the way to the next room, is a large sunny half-landing with sofa to allow you to soak up the rays whilst dipping into your favourite book. The second bedroom is charming with a pitched ceiling and exposed beams. Light streams in from two velux windows and two sash windows to the front. There is a large double fitted wardrobe, decorative fireplace and twin beds which can be zipped together to make a superking size bed if required.. Here also is a bathroom with panelled bath and shower over.
Back down to the lower ground floor, you will find a cinema room with large flat screen TV, DVD player and lots of DVD`s to curl up to. It is well lit, although there are no windows which is perfect for watching movies.. There is a day bed and super large bean bag. Finally the basement level with vaulted ceilings has a cloakroom and a large utility with terracotta tiled floors, a range of units with wood worktops, a washing machine, freezer, dryer, sink and integrated fridge.
In relation to our stay at Gloucester Street I would simply like to say it was fabulous, the house was spotless and very convenient to the city. We made good use of the parking permit getting to park almost adjacent to the house every night. Thank you for the welcome pack which was very much appreciated and an added bonus to our stay was the spectacular lightening storm.

This property is surrounded by handsome architecture, lovely Museums and handy local shops and pubs. Bath city centre is a short walk, and has wonderful shopping, entertainment and historic sites. Nearby Royal Victoria Park has indoor and outdoor tennis courts, and mini golf and a large childrens' adventure park. You can relax with a picnic whilst watching hot air balloons take off or try the 18 hole Approach golf course with wonderful views. This property is around the corner from one of Bath's best gastro pubs, Chequers, known for its delicious sunday roasts and nearby is Margaret's Buildings, an elegant pedestrianised street with a selection of restaurants, galleries, and boutiques. Also handy is St James's Square with a newsagent, Cavenish cooks for home made take away food, chemist, delicatessen, organic green grocer, internet cafe and florist.
The property comes with a permit allowing you to park 1 car on the street out front or on neighbouring streets. Alternatively the Bath Spa Railway and bus station are a 20 minute walk away.
