The home was less than expected. One dining table was heavily scarred one chairs arm was very lose fire alarm went off two days in a row pool was only cleaned once temperature in house could not be lowered past certain temp tv had no instructions on how to use chandelier was dirty house was spacious but not worth money no soap detergent had to buy bottle very difficult to open key lock overall not satisfactory stay would not recommend
Thank you for your feedback. We do apologize that you experienced issues during your stay. We apologize that you had issue with the lockbox at the home, but we have had them serviced since your stay with no further issue. We do apologize for any confusion - pools and hot tubs are not scheduled for mid-stay cleans if a guest stays less than 14 nights in a home. The smoke alarms were addressed both times you experienced issues. The maintenance technician did help trouble shoot the issues you experienced with the TVs. We do wish that you had alerted us to the other items you noted in your review, but we do thank you for allowing us to provide an equitable resolution.
Amazing view & outdoor area was enjoyed by our group. Plenty of space for everyone.
Overall the property was nice but a little shabby , i.e, the kitchen table with some wobbly chairs. There were some also issues with blinds that wouldn’t open or close-some were very obvious-Not sure if housekeeping hasn’t mentioned them to management or if they are just ignoring them because the home is on the market for sale. The main issue was that the cable TV wasn’t working when we arrived (1st weekend of NCAA tournament). However, we called & the local manager Dave came out & not only fixed all the TVs so we could watch the tournament but also explained how to work the pool & spa properly so we could enjoy the heated pool we paid extra for. We never did find a welcome book at the home to explain how everything worked but luckily Dave was able to provide the answers to our questions. We can’t thank Dave enough - if he hadnt come to our rescue - at the end of a long day for him ( it was around 7:30 or 8 pm) - our stay would have started on a very sour note. Our group of cousins comes to Spring Training every year & enjoyed sharing the amenities of the house. The location was within 30 minutes of several ballparks. Some suggestions would be to fix some of the minor problems in the home-they distract from the overall good impression of the home-space, view, location. It would have been nice to have a host meet us on arrival & explain how to work the cable & pool, as well as point out any special features & answer questions. For the price we were paying per night PLUS service fees, owner fees, extra fee to heat the spa & pool , etc. we expected a little better. In fact we had called Customer Service prior to our trip when the last review indicated problems with the cable. We wanted to make sure it was working because the guys were looking forward to watching the NCAA tournament together. We were assured the problem was handled, however, it was NOT working when we arrived. Started our stay on a negative note. Luckily Dave was able to save the day so our stay proceeded positively. Overall we had a good stay at the property. Fix a few things & it could be great!
Mel, Thank you for your very candid and honest review to help us to improve both the condition of the property and the customer service received by the guest. We are glad Dave took very good care of you! We look forward to hosting you again. Thank you!
Nice property but we had many challenges--3.5 stars would be the correct rating--
The house is huge and has a great view. The pool, when heated during our stay, was fun and usable. The beds are comfortable.
There were many challenges upon our arrival. The trash was overflowing from both large containers, there were no hand towels nor washcloths, wet towels were left in the washing machine, broken blinds in several rooms (with no way to open or close), no information on the thermostat settings, TV or fire pit, 2 broken armchairs at the kitchen table and loose chairs in the formal dining room, one dishwasher was broken, no broom to clean up with and very unorganized kitchen. The home next door is being renovated but this was not active during our stay. There was a dead coyote at the fence which we had to remove due the stench (this is not the owners fault, obviously). We also had challenges getting connected with local management for assistance.
The home is large and can accommodate everyone easily. The views are wonderful and sitting outside is peaceful. It is in a quiet location with short drives to many locations/attractions.
Beautiful Views, ill maintained / outdated home, shabby furnishings.
The views from this home are nothing short of spectacular all day and night. Sunsets, night, daytime. I could sit for hours just looking out onto the mountain views. We booked this for our 30th Anniversary. Upon first arrival we had just come from Costco and were ready to get our grill on. We were quick to discover that the grill was not functional (the gas line had actually been severed.) So we had to cook some grill worthy steaks and seafood on the stove top, disappointing. Again the evening of the first day we settled in to watch a little TV, "No HDMI" is what the TV said. Looked into a rats nest of wiring and was not able to sort it all out. Not to mention who wants to waste time on their vacation repairing someone else's mess. It was a Saturday when we arrived and immediately called about the grill and TV. On Monday or Tuesday we did have a service tech stop by and look at the issues. He said he would have to send someone else to look at the grill and said he would have to get the cable co. to come out for the TV. Mind you, this is the TV in the main living area. The Grill was repaired Wednesday or Thursday and the TV/cable box was never addressed. A sink in the upstairs master had a dysfunctional stopper and all the parts were laying in the cabinet bottom. The half bath toilet paper holder was installed incorrectly so it won't actually hold TP. The fire pit has warning labels on it stating that it is unstable and not to lean on it - why not just fix it? Hot Tub has no operable hydrotherapy jets. It's just like sitting in a tub. If you turn the blower on, the water action is so intense it's not pleasant to sit in. The pool cool decking is chipping off around the pool (sad.) The dining tables are worn and out dated, chairs falling apart. Upstairs Master Bedroom thermostat was set high for me and locked, so to sleep with cool air the sliding patio door had to be open. There are 2 dishwashers, 1 is not functional, discovered after loading it. There is an old fridge in the pantry that is off so when it's opened a ghastly smell awaits. Mid stay the cord on the large cellular blind in the master broke leaving them in the open position for the remainder of the stay (dry rot.) On several nights at 12:00am the whole house intercom / radio came on at full volume. Upon undressing the beds on the last day, we were horrified to see the state of the mattress in the lower master. I'll leave that to your imagination. We made the most of it!
Thank you for your review, Christine. The property manager is working with the homeowner on making improvements to the property. The TV/Cable is working, and we have adjusted the range on the thermostat for guest access. We do have plans for other items you mentioned in your review, and, again, will continue working to help this home feel the most enjoyable it can be. Thank you!
Home was great. Spacious, spotless and the view was awesome while relaxing around the fire ring. Great communication from the home manager as well. They even offered a late check-out option, we didn't need it but it was nice.
Definitely will use again
