Great little rustic cabin
We had a great time staying in this rustic little cabin. Had a nice gas stove that made the cabin nice and cozy. Wasn’t to far from the Ben & Jerry Factory and other activities. Although the bed wasn’t the greatest we would recommend this cabin to anyone looking for an amazing cabin off the beat and path.
Just wanted to say that we have a new bed ordered and it should be here this month. The bed is only a few years old but it hasn’t lasted as well as anticipated when it was first
purchased. So the Guest Cottage is receiving a New Year’s present for 2019!
Kevin and Pamela were very nice hosts. Their cabin couldn’t have been cosier. Thanks much! Kevin and Pati.
Perfect for 2 - Located within 1 hour drive of so much
This was my third stay over the last 4 years. This year my husband came for the 1st time. He made a rule of no more than 1 hour drive to any activity. Stretching it to 1 hour 15 minutes we visited King Arthur and Dan and Whit's General Store in Norwich, Bread and Puppet Museum near Glover, and the Warren Falls/Moss Glen Falls area. Another day we went to Vermont History Museum in Montpelier, Vermont Bird Museum, and Church St in Burlington. On Saturday after breakfast at the Fall's General store we hit the last outdoor farmer's market for the season in Montpelier. One caveat was the weather - snow/rain/sleet/snow/rain and in the low 30's all days except 1 but the cottage is cozy and kept warm even at night with a gas "wood" stove with a remote to set the temperature. Mela and Kevin are incredible hosts and the cottage (built by Kevin) and the grounds so relaxing it is hard to leave.
Charming Cottage and Charming Hosts
I love the location and privacy of this cottage. It is cute, clean, and comfortable, with numerous amenities: good WiFi, kitchen stocked with pots and pans, and Direct TV. Hosts Pamela and Kevin are friendly and responsive. Their property and the surrounding area are so pretty that I can't imagine how one could NOT have a great time. I have booked it more than once and enjoyed myself each time.
I will be back!
Great cabin to have a relaxing weekend!
