The apartment is maintained by our delightful Housekeeper & Co-ordinator extraordinaire, who prepares it immediately after the guests check out and it’s therefore available 24/7. I use a key safe system for storing the apartment keys, which means you have no hassle access regardless of your time of arrival.

We are available 24/7 if you have any urgent needs, which you must address immediately. I provide full mobile, email & What’s App contact details for Maddy and I once you have booked the apartment.

Guest Access

Guests are provided with ‘Andrew’s local guide to Fulham’ 2 weeks before they arrive.

This explains how to reach the apartment by planes, trains and automobiles as well as many local places you can visit, eat, drink or go to during your visit.

The apartment located in Waldemar Avenue, is on the ground floor and was fully refurbished in 2015. Access is through the front door from the Avenue into the main building and then through the apartment main door, which faces you as you enter.

There is one low step from street level to the main front door, which leads you to the apartment. So those arriving with prams, wheelchairs or heavy luggage will have straightforward and easy access into the apartment.

Once inside access to all room is on ground level, so it is straightforward for people with mobility issues to move around. There is one low step down from the kitchen into the garden.

Access to the apartment is obtained through a set of keys, which are stored in a key safe and easily accessible for guests. Details for these are provided once the booking is confirmed and approximately 2 weeks in advance of your visit.

Interaction with Guests

My approach is providing you, the guest, with the freedom you require to fully enjoy your stay at the apartment. In advance of your arrival I will provide you with a ‘welcome pack’ that sets our contact details and what you need to know about the apartment when you arrive. 

On arrival either Maddy, my housekeeper extraordinaire or I can meet you at the apartment, if requested. If you’d rather the privacy & intimacy to enter the apartment on your own we’ll respect your request. After you’d checked in please do contact us via text or what’s app message to confirm all is well or ask any initial questions.

During your stay do contact us at any time by text message or phone if you have any questions. On the morning of check out please let yourselves out and leave the keys in the safe. Maddy will arrive on or around 11h00 to undertake our check-out requirements. We’ll contact if we have any concerns or find any personnel items belonging to you. Please have a safe onward journey.

Other Things to Note

The apartment is available for short or long-term letting and ideally suits business people, visitors, small groups or families with young babies or children on holiday. You can book for short, medium or long term rental periods.

If this apartment is not available just click on that picture of me as I do have other apartment, equally as good, which may be available.

This apartment is not available for parties or gathering during your stay, please do not book it if this is your requirement. If you do have a requirement for a party you can discuss if you wish.

The timings given here are for if you are going slowly but if you walk at a faster pace, the time will be less.

There is an abundance of public transport (bus, cabs, trains & tubes) within 0-10 minutes that provides access to local, national & international travels (trains, planes & automobiles), London’s many historic and beautiful attractions.

The apartment is located on a secluded road in SW6 London, noise is low and there is plenty of street parking (meter payments) directly outside for those wishing to arrive by and use their car during their stay. There is parking, in the streets directly outside the apartment. This is chargeable at £2.20 per hour Monday – Friday 09h00-17h00. Outside of these times there is no charge for parking.

World wide web Just Park is the Airbnb parking equivalent and will offer great bargains in the area. Why not check this out if arriving by car?

There are half a dozen Barclays Cycle Hire locations within 10 minutes walking distance from the apartment for those wishing to have a leisurely cycle around the capital. There are half a dozen plus ZIP car hire points & an Avis Car rental office again within 10 minute walk for those requiring cars.

Directions and helpful tips

Closest tubes are Parsons Green and Putney Bridge - 8 minutes’ walk.

Buses to central London are 1 minute away.

The closets airport is Heathrow or if you are driving come in on M25, turn eastbound onto M4 and come straight into Talgarth & North End Road junction down to Fulham Road, turn left. Waldemar Avenue is about a 1 mile or 1.6kms away on the right hand side.

Street parking with meter payments between 09h00 --> 17h00.

House rules

The main rules are that people treat my neighbours and the apartment with respect.

The apartment should be left as you found it but if you do break, damage or lose any items please let me know.

This apartment is not available for or to be used for a party or gathering during your stay. If you do have this requirement please do discuss it with me.

Hi I'm Andrew - I moved to London in '85 and loved the fast paced hustle & bustle of London.

In 2010 I moved to Brussels to live & work. Today I spend my time between the two cities and where possible other locations.

I love the concept of fully furnished rental apartment where you walk in the door and everything is at hand as you would expect in your own home.

I pride myself in providing high quality furnished accommodation to non business and business people who are on the move. I have spent a lot of my working time traveling and know that branded accommodation become mundane after a while.

Why Andrew Marshall chose London

Growing up in Dublin, Ireland could hardly be considered the as the prime motivator for wanting to live and own a property in Fulham. From an early age I had a found affection for the area whether it was University Boat Race, The Chelsea Flower Show, Fulham FC or the Riverside walks I cannot say or remember. However, when to opportunity presented itself I jumped in with both feet to buy and live in this smashing location.

The apartment, located minutes from the River Thames and Putney Bridge where the University Boat Race starts has its own private entrance and even a little garden! It a short walk to Putney, Hammersmith, Fulham, Bishops Park, which is ideal for the kids to play in and of course Central London and the City are on its doorstep for those with pressing retail therapy and business maters to attend to. Simplicity in itself!

What makes this apartment unique

The apartment is situated in a Victorian terrace in the very heart of Fulham. Nestling in the side streets from the Fulham Road there is little traffic to disturb guests. Once you enter the front door you leave the hustle and bustle of London behind you for the luxury of this apartment. Fully refurbished and extended in 2007, today it includes 2 double bedroom with built in wardrobes, one with an en-suite and the second bedroom, which adopts the second bathroom as its own.

The bright airy living is a fantastic entertainment centre for you to sit in, relax, watch telly, DVD, listen to the radio of sit back, snooze while reading or watch the world go by outside. The kitchen is comfortable, very modern with all mod con at your fingers tips for those wishing to take it easy and have a delicious home cooked meal or entertain guests.

Very nice, roomy and beautifully maintained flat in a pleasant neighbourhood; with tube access not too far away, plenty of eating opportunities around the corner, including a lovely Italian place at the bottom of the street and our favourite, Indian cuisine, within a few minutes walk. Parking was easy, booked online, 3/4 miles away. We enjoyed our stay very much and would definitely recommend this apartment. Thank you for the wonderful experience and the outstanding customer service.

Wonderful Apartment in SW-London

We had a wonderful stay in this clean & elegant apartment located in a nice street in Fulham neat Putney Bridge. Only a short walk away from the underground stations to reach Kew Gardens, Twickenham, Wimbledon and directly with the District Line the Destinations in Central London like: Tower, Covent Garden, Westminster, Kensington...We`ll come back to this apartment for our next visit in London.

Perfect Location, Clean & Well Presented

Fantastic little apartment perfect for those wishing to head into The City, clean and welcoming with everything you need on hand. Lots of extras such as tea, coffee and spices left for use. My only comment would be that the sofa bed in the lounge was awful and so uncomfortable, request an air bed which they will provide if you have more than 4 people and will need an extra bed. Other than that everything was perfect.

Great location

The apartment is lovely - just as described - and it is in a great location. A really nice quiet road not far from restaurants and tube stations making it easy to get about. Had good meals in Roxie Steak and at Monty's Nepalese restaurant - both on Fulham Road in easy walking distance and reasonably priced.

The apartment is located in Fulham SW6 and it’s within walking distance of many of London's sights, from the River Thames to Fulham Road to London’s luxurious Kings Road to Chelsea Wharf to Kew Gardens to Kensington Palace, Hyde Park to Battersea Park & Power Station.

The Albert Hall, Buckingham Palace, Westminster Cathedral, London Eye, West End, London’s theatre land and the City of London are but 20-25 minutes by tube.

There are lots of shops in Fulham and the best grocery stores nearby are Sainsbury’s, Tesco’s, (5 minute walk) Fulham Road or Marks & Spencer, Putney High Street. 

Fulham Road, Fulham Broadway, Hammersmith Riverside & Putney High Street have a veritable feast of international & ethnic restaurants, pubs and cafes.

For those looking for late nightlife there are a number of clubs on High Street Kensington & the King’s Road if you’d rather not travel to the West End.

For those who enjoy walking there is a fantastic walk along the Thames River from Putney Bridge to Hammersmith Bridge and back again, which passes by Harrods Depository, London Wetland Nature Reserve Bishops Park & the Riverside Studios.

For the Premier League loving football fans the apartment is located approximately 20 minutes from Chelsea FC & 10 minutes Fulham FC but far enough away that you are not troubled by the noise or the marching army of fans making their way to and from the grounds.
