Termini Imerese Spa town rich in art and natural beauty, its origins are lost in time. In its territory there are the remains of the Greek city of Himera with Temple of victory and the vast necropolis. Among the works of art in addition to the cathedral you can admire the Shrine of Our Lady of Consolation with inside the famous stucco Serpotta, the Roman aqueduct (cornelio) of the first century AD. C., the Roman amphitheater, baths (linked to the legend of Hercules) and many other monuments worth visiting including the museum and the Antiquarium Himera.
This territory is inserted the splendid Villa Council (recently renovated) which began as a residential dwelling, furnished with sobriety, elegance and good details. Council House is a place suitable for every type of guest, including couples and families and is surrounded by centuries-old olive trees and vast meadows where is a splendid and large private pool. The extensive terraces belvedere of Villa Council offer the opportunity to enjoy a heavenly view with -spettacolare- and unique view of the vast gulf-termitano that gives the feeling of being immersed in the crystal clear Mediterranean Sea and on the other side of the scale top of the charming Monte San Calogero. The Villa Board is well positioned in a strategic area for visiting the nearby Palermo (capital of Sicily) whose path Arab-Norman was declared by UNESCO "World Heritage", feeding it right in the World Heritage List for its exclusive kind that includes, in addition to Palermo (center of the lush "Conca d'Oro") also Cefalu (important tourist resort well-equipped) and Monreale (with its cathedral jewel artistic and architectural Norman); the path is characterized by the union of two opposite worlds: the Arab-Muslim and Norman-Catholic. From this beautiful and unique landscapes of the idea to put Villa Board available to travelers who want to spend a holiday, definitely memorable, amid the sparkle of the sea, surrounded by the hills and pearls of an entire artistic and cultural heritage unique in the world . Also you can enjoy Sicilian cuisine, which among regional cuisines in Italy is more tied to the history and culture of their territory, that the owners (optional) will take care of cooking delicious dishes and rich flavors of the Mediterranean, which has hints and memories of Greek cuisine but also the spicy flavors of the fabulous and delicious Sicilian cuisine.
We had an amazing week at Villa Consiglio.
The view are amazing, overlooking the sea and the mountains, the house are beautiful with Classic Italian woodtables and the garden are perfekt with gorgeous palmtrees, cactuses and flowers between Roman statues.
We had our breakfast out on the huge terrasse and early nigits we had dinner with the great view overlooking the sea.
Late dinners we were sitting in the valv overlooking the uplightned pool.
We had the best welcome from Pietro and Rosella with supplies stucket in the kitchen and they also made us some antipasto for us to eat when we arriverat late. Perfekt!
We also had Pietro and Rosella to come over to cook great Sicilien food one night. Great antipasto with frutte de mare, 2 gorgeous pastadishes and ofcourse some local Dolce. It was amazing!
We spent lots of time in the garden by the pool, Reading books, looking at the kids having fun playing. Relaxing!
We recomend this place highly!

Our experience staying at Villa Consiglio exceeded all expectations. Having breakfast in the fresh air in the morning -- or family dinner in the early evening -- at the big table on the balcony with a spectacular view over the tranquil Tyrrhenian Sea is an unforgettable experience, even for very seasoned travelers. The villa, surrounded by classical statues, is beautifully integrated into an olive grove with full, unimpeded, view over the sea. It had all amenities needed for our multi-generations family. The pool ensured that the grandchildren were happy all the time.
We cooked and shared dinners ourselves, except one evening when owners Pietro and Rosella prepared a most sumptuous, traditional Sicilian dinner for us, starting with a rich selection of antipasti, followed by the primi piatti (not only one, but two delicious pasta dishes). Then we had the secondi piatti - steaks and sausages. By then we already were full, but the temptation to eat more was irresistible. The dessert was a tray of cannoli and other local delicacies that rounded off an unforgettable dining experience. We even enjoyed leftovers for the next three days.
We were happy to spend much of the time just relaxing, at the villa and giving the grandchildren time to get wet in the pool. However, we also found time for daytrips to nearby Cefalu and the Norman castle at Caccamo.
We share vacation with our children and grandchildren at least one time a year. The overall ambiance of Villa Consiglio and Sicilian hospitality made this one of our absolutely best family experiences.

We stayed at Villa Consiglio the second week of September. The villa is located close to the centre of Termini Imerese, where you can find supermarkets and a lot of nice restaurants. Cities like Palermo and Cefalu are within driving distance for a day trip.
At arrival the owners welcomed us with a plate of fresh fruit, and gave us a tour around the house and property. We stayed in the lower part of
the house, which consists of two good styled and clean bedrooms with AC,
a big dining room with small kitchen. What we missed; a small
living room, internet connection and music system, but this depends on
personal wishes and purpose of the staying. The villa is an excellent
place to give (dinner) parties, outside a large bbq and lots of tables
were available. From the large terrace you have a beautiful panoramic
view over the sea.
The swimming pool was a very nice facility, to take refreshing dive on a
During our stay the friendly and hospitable owners did everything to
make our stay as comfortable as possible. It was a great holiday!
We stayed in Villa Consiglio for more than a week with 5 friends. We had an amazing time at the villa, which is located approximately 5 mins drive from the old and new centre of Termini Imerese. From the villa it was easy to plan day trips to Palermo, Mondello and Cefalu, which is all within 45 minutes driving distance. The villa itself has huge property, the view is absolutely amazing and the garden is beautiful. We stayed in the lower part of the house; for bigger groups the hosts also rent out the top floor of the villa - the view from there is magnificent. The hosts were lovely, despite the language barrier they did everything within their power to make our stay as comfortable as possible. If I ever decide to go back to Sicily (there is so much to see there) I would surely stay at this villa again.
the best accommodation we had in Italy - and the very best owners. They were so nice and friendly and made everything very comfortable. The house is big and modern and clean with the nice pool area. we loved the vacations there! and Pietro and Rosella!
We had a great time at the villa. We loved the view, the big garden with swimming pool. And above all the hospitality of the owners, we really felt at home and they were really helpfull, thanks a lot. And they cooked a real Sicilian dinner for us at the villa, it was great tasteful experience.
The villa is an half hour from the beautiful village Cefalu and Caccamo is only 20 minutes away and it's also nice to go to the nearby village Termini Imerese. My advice is rent this villa if you could, you won't regret it.
