2/4 people in the heart of Bayeux with private garden

We loved our stay here - the owner thought of everything!!!! Great size space for my husband and I. Modern and updated kitchen & bathroom. Great location, lots of restaurants around the corner as well as a convenient grocery store. The heart of Bayeux is within walking distance too! Parking is on the street around the corner. The owner was wonderful, she had lots of cookies, coffee, spices, etc for us. We came from the US so that was great that we did not have to purchase small things like coffee & tea. We were not able to use the beautiful private courtyard due to the rain! There was a dishwasher, washer/dryer, coffee maker, tea kettle, microwave, iron - all the comforts of home! I would definitely recommend staying here when you are visiting Bayeux.

Great location in Bayeux, easy walking distance to the sights and restaurants with a friendly bakery at the end of the road. Really enjoyed our time in Bayeux visiting the surrounding beaches and D-day museums, loved returning to the gite to relax in the courtyard garden. I would recommend this gite to anyone considering a stay Bayeux, hopefully we will be back ourselves one day.

This gite is a gem. The location is superb - an easy walk into Bayeux and well connected by roads to the Normandy beaches and beyond. Well appointed; it's got all that you need for a very comfortable stay. Great wifi - a real bonus. We loved the courtyard too! Thanks - we are hoping to come and stay again next year!

The location of the apartment (really a small house) is steps from the Bayeux tapestry, cathedral, good restaurants, bars and a major shopping street. The DDay beaches and museums are very close.

The owner is extremely helpful (washing machine instructions vary considerably from US machines). Lots of space and the apartment is not noisy. The shower is spacious, not at all like a hotel’s. The kitchen is well equipped and spacious. The courtyard is a real plus for relaxation.

When we return to retour the D-Day beaches (they are a short drive away) and the Normandy cheese producers we will stay here again. If you have a car, parking is available and free.

We spent a week here for holiday as well as business purposes. The owners were very responsive seeing to our every request. The location is convenient to center Bayeux. The apartment is clean and well stocked. Enjoy your stay in Bayeux.
