Two of the bedrooms have a TV - one in the king-size room, the other in the twin-bedded room. Travel cot and highchair available by prior arrangement. Duvets provided – no bed linen. N.B. Bunks are full size. Oil central heating available by prior arrangement at £25 per week. All other electricity included in rental.

The adjoining garage/utility area serves as an useful storage area for wetsuits and beach equipment and also houses a 6´ x 3´ snooker table and a separate (third) toilet.

There is a large open-plan garden at the front, as well as a large, fully enclosed (though not 100% dog-proof) rear garden with an open view towards Garn Fadryn. Patio furniture and charcoal barbecue provided. Off-road parking for 3/4 cars.

Highly recommended and, in view of the standard of accommodation, let to careful, non-smoking hirers only.

One well behaved dog allowed by prior arrangement (though not allowed in bedrooms or on furniture).

Wi-Fi available. Off-peak short breaks available - price available upon request and depends whether one or both floors are used.

The usual changeover day for this property is a Friday.

** For parties of 6 or less, the first floor can be completely closed off and the rentals reduced by £100 per week. To claim this discount please contact us BEFORE you make a booking.

Regular customers who have, for many years, enjoyed staying at our previous number 33 on the Golf Road at Morfa Nefyn, will be delighted to know that this property is owned by the same owner and hirers can therefore expect the same high standard and attention to detail to which they have become accustomed!

Fantastic February half term break

  • 5 of 5

We have just returned from Llechwedd where we had a weeks stay and i have to say it was the perfect holiday home for a large party of people! Our party consisted of 4 adults, 4 children and 1 dog and we still had plenty of room in the house!

The pictures on the website although very nice do not do this house justice, it is so much better in reality, which was a really nice surprise on arrival. The rooms are spacious, airy and very comfortable. the log burner fire in the living room is a great plus! The gardens are lovely, especially the back garden which has a great decking area and lovely views! The house is also equipped with everything you could possibly need!

Christine was very attentive, she gave great communication and sent us lots of information about the house and surrounding areas.

The house is only a short stroll to the beach, or if you want a slightly longer walk (approx. 25 mins) you can walk through the golf course to the famous and really lovely pub - Ty Coch Inn. Abersoch and Pwhelli are also short drives away (25 mins) so there is plenty to do on your door step - walking or driving!

Overall we would thoroughly recommend anyone to stay here!

We look forward to staying again in the future! Thanks Christine!

The Guite and Jones families.

xmas in Morfa Nefyn

  • 5 of 5

Travelled throughout UK on this family trip. This property was the best accommodation we stayed at- the owner has thought of everything a traveller might need- in our case as we were staying over xmas she supplied a xmas tree and decorated the house accordingly. The house is spacious so the 6 of us didn't feel "on top of each other". Also bearing in mind we had travelled from a queensland summer and hit a welsh winter we were comforted by the excellent heating system, never the less we still were able to have a nice fire on xmas day -again something we would not have at home!

The property is very close to an excellent village shop and post office.

This was a first time visit to Morfa Nefyn for two of the guests- they were totally taken aback by the beauty of the Llyn peninsula as they drove over the Rivals and saw the vista for the first time. It really is a hidden gem- so shhhh and enjoy!!

Excellant Morfa Nefyn Home

  • 5 of 5

Llechwedd is a modern and well equipped bungalow with loft conversion, located up a quiet lane in the village of Morfa Nefyn. It has 2 double bedrooms, 2 twin bedded rooms, (1 of which has bunk beds) 2 bathrooms, 1 ground floor and 1 on the first floor, both with showers. The main sitting room is very comfortable with plenty of room for 8 people, with the added comfort of an open fire (although the heating is quite adequate even in winter). The kitchen is well equipped and has a dining table that extends large enough to sit 8 people. The rear garden has a well built decking area that looks out onto a panoramic mountain view. There is a small snooker table in the garage, that leads on to the utility room that has another wc. The owner is very helpful and we would recommend this property for any time of the year.

Superb proprerty

  • 5 of 5

We spent a long weekend in late September at the property. We have stayed in lots of holiday rental houses in the area and this is comfortably the best house we have stayed in. We found the house to be very clean and benefits from being recently renovated to a high standard. The bedrooms are very well proportioned and presented. The outside living space works well in conjunction with the excellent utility room. The house is conveniently positioned for everything from the shops to the beach. In addition the house has some really amazing views to complete the package!! We will hopefully be staying here again.

Llechwedd

  • 5 of 5

Had a great week staying at Llechwedd. It's a large, comfortable and well-equipped house with a great view from the kitchen and back garden. It's in an excellent position for accessing the beaches, villages and sights around the Llyn Peninsula. Recommended places to visit: Porth Dinllaen & Ty Coch Inn, Porth Oer, Abersoch, Aberdaron, Porthmadoc and Criccieth. Also, have a walk down to the Golf Club for a drink and look out over the picturesque course.

Location

DISCOVER HIDDEN WALES IN 2017

Never heard of the Lleyn (or Llyn) Peninsula? Little-known and totally unspoilt, it is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with a coastline influenced by the Gulf Stream, which encourages a mild Atlantic climate all year round!

The Lleyn Peninsula is the long finger of land, that thrusts out towards Ireland, forming the northern arm of Cardigan Bay, as Pembrokeshire does the southern. At its very point lies Bardsey Island (Ynys Enlli), burial place of 20,000 saints, which has drawn pilgrims to its now ruined monastery, along the pilgrims’ road, ever since the 6th century.

With its unique and diverse blend of scenery; rocky coves; sandy beaches; mountains; open countryside and wooded valleys, it provides the ideal setting for a varied holiday. There is also the added touch of “foreignness” with its unusual place-names and the Welsh language spoken around you, which makes the holiday that little different.

Lleyn is approximately 35 miles long by 10 miles at its widest, so where ever you stay on this narrow strip of land you are never far from the clear blue seas of Lleyn.

Well-served by many excellent pubs and restaurants with a good standard of fare, Lleyn can cater for the full range of tastes – and still provide value for money.

Be you a walker, water-skier, yachtsman, ponytrekker, golfer, fisherman, wakboarder, archer, or just someone who wants to lie on the beach all day, the Lleyn Peninsula offers something for everyone and whatever time of year you visit, you will be spoilt for choice.

The Peninsula also serves as an ideal base for exploring the rolling green hills and the many attractions of the Snowdonia National Park: the slate mines at Blaenau Ffestiniog, the unique Italianate village of Portmeirion (the location for the TV series the Prisoner) and numerous castles - Criccieth, Caernarfon and Harlech.
