Elegant and comfortable apartment close to the city centre just outside the ztl area, therefore, hassle free if you have a car. We are at a 15 minute walking distance from city centre and 25 minutes walking distance from Duomo, Uffizzi Gallery, Piazza Signoria, Statue of David, Ponte Vecchio etc and great shopping too! You can take the bus if you prefer. It is a pleasant walk with pastry shops and coffee bars along the way. The apartment is spacious, airy and bright. There is a baker, butcher, laundromat, wine-shop, grocery store close by. Very convenient and ideal location far from the noise but at walking distance from all attractions. The beautiful Villa Fabbricotti, Stibbert Park and Museum is right behind us and at walking distance to Giardino del'Orticoltura with its beautiful conservatory.
Our apartment has been newly refurbished. We used high quality fixtures through out. It is elegant and comfortable with up-to-date amenities. Brand new designer bathrooms with new fixtures. The spacious double living room has a large sofa bed and can be closed with sliding doors. This offers complete privacy and is used as the 3rd bedroom. The master bedroom has an en suite bathroom. The other bathroom is in the hallway.
The apartment has 2 balconies and has a spacious feeling. Unlimited wifi access, air conditioning, linen and taxes are all included. There are NO hidden costs. It is on the second floor WITH elevator. The size is 115 square meters.
I designed this apartment for our young family. We had to move due to work reasons unfortunately. We also have a villa with private pool close to beautiful beaches in Southern Tuscany. See property number 833916. Please contact me if you want more information.
Rita purchased this apartment in 2010
I chose Florence because I truly feel that it is one of the most beautiful cities in the world! Our location offers absolute convenience and the old neighbourhood feeling. The apartment is close to the city centre yet far from the madding crowd!
It is bright and spacious, close to everything you might need and at walking distance to the centre. You won't need your car! The Stibbert park is behind our building. There is a parking garage close by. Please contact me for further information.
My wife and I had a very pleasant four week stay in this apartment In
January. The apartment is spacious, attractive, and pleasantly warm. There
is baker's shop opposite ,a pleasant park nearby which has an attractive
coffee shop, and which houses a very interesting museum. The bus stop for
the centre of town (number 4)is four hundred yards away, and it takes about
fifteen minutes to get to the city centre.
We were able to gain immediate access to the museums and churches, and this
is a definite advantage in the winter months. Rita, the owner, was
unfailingly helpful, and extremely efficient during the planning
negotiations, and Evelyn, the apartment manager was helpful and very
capable at all times, particularly when we both contracted influenza.. We
can thoroughly recommend this apartment without reservation.

Our time spent in Florence was truly amazing. Rita greeted us upon arrival offering helpful suggestions which we listened to and enjoyed tremendously. We were there celebrating a sweet sixteen for one of our two daughters and Rita was kind enough to order and have delivered a delicious bday cake. We all also enjoyed a bottle of Champagne compliments of Rita & Giuseppe=)
The home is perfectly open and airy with comfortable furnishings and well stocked for any and all your needs. We enjoyed the bakery and wine sprits shops right across the street, and supermarket around the corner. It is conveniently located and accessible to most everything. We had our daily walk to Celana for gelato each evening too.
Each morning started with a delicious coffee( thanks to Rita) add a baked item from across the street and we then we were good to go. Easy walk to Duomo, & Mercato Centrale where delicious food awaits you, and shopping galore.in the other direction we also enjoyed dinner at Perseus and highly recommend it.
With all if the walking it was always enjoyable to come home and relax in comfort. There was always enough hot water for showers, plenty of room for relaxing and watching US television, and unwinding before retiring to the comfy beds. Our girls had their own privacy in their room (to be teenage girls & have wifi access was big) to catch up back home.
Each morning to open the kitchen balcony door and take in the sunshine and scenery was a blessing.
We enjoyed our stay and would love to return. Rita and Giuseppe are wonderful hosts and we really appreciate them sharing their home with our family. We all agree it was a Fabulous Florence holiday!! Prego =)

This is a perfect apartment: is 25 m walking from the main piazzas, is spacious, has plenty of space for relaxing and hang out. We were 3 adults and my 4 and 1/2 years old daughter.
She had enough space to play even hide and seek !
Richard is a sweetheart, very available and very helpful. Rita is wonderful and also very communicative.
I will go again and I strongly recommend it.
ENVE from San Francisco
We spent a wonderful family Christmas in Rita's lovely apartment. It is both spacious and homely and equipped with everything that is needed. The location is just perfect; close enough to walk to the city but far enough away to be very quiet and relaxing. There is a very convenient small supermarket just yards away and a bakery store across the road. We ate one night at Trattoria Fratelli Briganti (which was booked for us by Richard, Rita's trusty concierge!). We would highly recommend this lovely traditional family-run restaurant, just a short walk from the apartment.
Richard was extremely helpful during our stay - nothing was too much trouble for him.
Dealing with Rita was a pleasure and everything went very smoothly.
We travel a lot and have stayed in many properties and I can safely say that this is one of the nicest. If you stay here you will not be disappointed.
My husband and I stayed at Rita's apartment for 2 months. It was a great place to be for our "Italian vacation". Rita was absolutely delightful to deal with - she was very helpful with anything we needed, very quick to respond and was always available to give suggestions. We could not have asked for a better host. Richard is also great and met us on our first day to give us all the details of the apartment and then show us around the neighborhood. He even took us to a restaurant and got us a table for dinner our first night. He was always quick to respond to anything we needed and gave us great suggestions for things to do. The apartment is in a fairly quiet neighborhood, which we loved after being in the hustle and bustle of the city each day. The walk is very easy and we enjoyed walking into the city center and taking in all the sights and sounds. The apartment is spacious and has very nice appliances and the kitchen is well equipped with everything you could need. My husband loved that he had English news channels to keep up with what was going on at home while we were gone. There is a great grocery store right by the apartment that is very inexpensive. There is also a street market every week day that has fresh fruits and vegetables and is fun to walk through. We had everything we needed close by - a deli, a coffee bar, a gelato shop, the grocery store, a bakery and even a barber shop. The apartment was comfortable for our stay and we felt like it was home for our two months. It was very clean and everything was in good working order. The air conditioning was wonderful when we first arrived and the weather was hot, but the heater kept us nice and warm when the weather turned much colder. There are two terraces that we used to sit outside and have coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening. It was a wonderful location for all our side trips with the bus stop close by to take you directly to the train station if you did not want to walk. We would highly recommend staying at Rita's apartment for a short stay or a long stay. We were sad to say goodbye!
This property is about a mile outside of the main centre of Florence and is perfect for getting in and out of the city, we walked, but there are buses close by. The main railway station is also just over a mile away too. The apartment has absolutely everything that you need and is spacious throughout. Richard meets and greets guests and has an excellent knowledge of the city, places to go, things to do and, more importantly, he can tell you where to get amazing, real Italian ice cream, (a few minutes walk away). Richard can not do enough to help and is on-call to meet any of your needs. There is a very reasonable super market just around the corner a great bakery across the road and a championship winning pizzeria close by (the bakery and pizzeria were both closed for the holidays when we were there unfortunately!). We had a truely great experience and recommend this as a great base to explore this amazing city.
Dealing with Rita was very straightforward and responses always quick. We were greeted by Richard who was very helpful and gave us a quick guided tour of the area and found us a restaurant on our first night. Richard provided very useful information throughout our stay, ordering us a taxi to the station on our last day.
Florence is a great city and only is about a 20 minute walk from the apartment. If we return to Florence we would certainly consider staying here again.
Florence is one of the most stunning and well known cities in the world. It offers great food and wine and has breathtaking history, art and architecture. It is perfect for a short city break or longer stay all year around. The small airport so close to the city and the proximity to the train station is ideal. Shopping is fantastic in this city where most of the world's renowned designers come from! Please don't forget Fiesole which is a jewel with the most amazing views.
Florence is close to Pisa, San Giminiano, Siena, Lucca, the Chianti wine region etc. this makes for perfect day trips. The proximity of the high speed train makes it easy to go to Rome and Venice too.
