Our host very friendly, and always available if we needed any help.
We highly recommend this holiday Accommodation.
Thoroughly enjoyed our 3 nights in The Leigh. Very comfortable and well kept with great hospitality. Perfect location to visit Gloucester and Cheltenham.
Would certainly stay again.
We stayed from Friday to Monday, definitely not long enough. The annex had everything that you would need and a bit more. It was lovely seeing and hearing the little lambs in the morning calling for their bottle of milk. Definitely will go back as we loved the area and could not see everything that we wanted in such a short time.
Thankyou Jo, a great owner and host
The Annex is exactly as advertised, stylish and comfortable with modern finishes, but still charming and cozy. The location is perfect for day trips through the beautiful countryside to places like Stratford, Burford and other "twee" towns. Jo is knowledgable about the area and helped us with planning some of our excursions. The property is stunning and Jo's welcoming hospitality made our stay memorable. Two week old lambs were the icing on the cake for my wife who would have been content spending the entire weekend with them. The only wish is that we had more than two days.
We enjoyed a wonderful weekend away in this gorgeous little property! It is well presented, easy to find and in an idyllic location for verntuing into Gloucester, Tewkesbury or simply exploring the countryside and Forest of Dean. The owner Jo was very welcoming and at the same time left us to enjoy our short break. The property was well equipped for self-catering. The only things to be aware of are there is no sitting room, only a two seater bar table for dining in th kitchen and the water pressure is a little on the low side. It didn't affect our stay and the sheep added to the charm! We would happily visit again.
The property is centrally located between the medieval town of Tewkesbury, the Spa town of Cheltenham and the City of Gloucester (about 15 minutes drive to any of these). Ideal for all Cheltenham festivals and to explore many beautiful and interesting places around Gloucestershire, The Cotswolds, the Forest of Dean and the Malvern Hills.
Some of the attractions are: Eastnor Castle (Ledbury), Hidcote Manor Garden, Rococo Gardens (Painswick), Stanway House and Fountain, Tewkesbury Abbey, Gloucester Cathedral, Sudeley Castle (Winchcombe), Snowshill Manor, Berkeley Castle, Nature in Art (Twigworth), Cotswold Farm Park, Gloucestershire/Warwickshire Railway, Slimbridge Wetland Centre, Westonbirt Aboretum and much, much more.
