Located in the Hameau des Marmottes, 1800 m above sea level, this apartment offers magnificent views of the mountains and the valley. You will have a great time with direct access to the slopes and the free shuttle bus (50 m away) working for the resort. It is possible to offer extra parking. The main living room consists of a well-equipped kitchen, a table for 8 people, and a lounge with a flat screen TV. The direct access through a large bay window facing the south balcony will allow you to enjoy the sunshine. The 3 comfortable bedrooms offer calm and relaxation. Two bedrooms have their own bathroom and toilet. There is a large bathroom with washing machine and dryer serving the last room. Sheets are provided on arrival. 1 bedroom: with a 160 cm bed, a bathroom, and toilet. Bedroom 2 equipped with a 150 cm bed, a bathroom, and toilet. Bedroom 3 equipped with a 140 cm bed and a 90 cm bed. Concierge service is offered: possibility of delivery of bread, newspapers, breakfast (only the merchandise is to regulate -the delivery costs are offered). Possibility of cleaning mid stay with supplement. Final cleaning available. No pets allowed. Smoking is not allowed.

The apartment comprises the top floor of a block. The floor area is huge but not all of it is usable due to the slope of the roof. It has a spacious feel and made for a very enjoyable stay. It was very clean and tastefully adorned with ornaments. We communicated with the owner by email and I found her to be a charming person to deal with as was the agent where we collected the keys.
The living area is open plan comprising a generous lounge with comfortable seating for seven of us to watch TV and chat. There is a dining table with seating for 8 and a well equipped kitchen comprising an oven, electric hob, separate integrated fridge, freezer and dish washer. There are plenty of knives, chopping boards, plates and cutlery and of course a cork screw. The worktop space is adequate The glasses and plates are all beautiful giving a feeling of luxury. The only thing I missed was a microwave but I quickly learned to manage without it.
There is a music system which we didn't use and a TV which gets its signal from the include Wi-Fi.
Outside there is a large balcony equipped for outside dining. The views over the valley are spectacular. We had to adjust the curtain a little because we were scared that it would tear when the door was opened.
The two double bedrooms are en-suite and very comfortable although I found the mattress a little soft for my taste. The third bedroom has a double bed and one single. The ceiling is very low due to the pitch of the roof making the room feel claustrophobic. There is a family bathroom with a washing machine and also a family toilet meaning that there are three toilets and bathrooms.
There is a ski locker in the basement.
We felt that the entrance to the block would have benefitted from a bench to sit on while putting boots on. Outside there is car parking but when we stayed in the February half term holiday it was full. Being seven of us we had to bring two vehicles, one of which we parked in the allocated covered parking space which is several hundred metres away. After some searching I managed to park the other one nearby but as everybody arrives on Saturday unloading was difficult.
The piste is 10 metres away and leads to the biggest ski area in the world, supermarket is close by although uphill. Ski hire is 100 metres away, a couple of restaurants are within walking distance; we ate at Le Ruade which was very pleasant. You can get to town by walking to the Preyrand pedestrian lift. or the free shuttle bus.

Les Menuires is located 1850 above sea level, in Les 3 the Vallées ski area. The apartment is located in a large chalet, in the picturesque Hameau des Marmottes. You will be delighted by the distant views of the valleys and mountains. There are several ski runs and ski lifts nearby. The nearest ski run is about 50 meters away from the apartment. Ski: The chalet is located 1,800 meters above sea level and 50 meters away on foot from the nearest ski run, from where you can reach the ski area of Les 3 Vallées. It is also 20 meters away from the free shuttle stop leading to the centre of Les Menuires; Les 3 Vallées is the largest ski area in the world. The Menuires area boasts a wide range of ski runs; you can ski to Meribel or Val Thorens after taking just one lift from Les Menuires centre. The 3 Vallées resort offers 600 km of slopes accessible to all levels of skiers. Next to the chalet: 50 metres away: the ski runs. Go ski in and out from the chalet. Access all Les 3 Vallées area from this slope. 50 metres away: 2 restaurants, fresh bread delivery, pastries, small dairy products, pizzeria, takeaways, ski equipment rental shop, pub, and performance hall. 400 meters away: Sherpa supermarket, 300 metres away: Carrefour Montagne supermarket, 800 meters away: a sporty centre (saunas, Turkish bath, Jacuzzis, pool, fitness centre, and massage), bars, restaurants, and bus station. 1000 meters away: Croisette (city centre) and other districts. Access is on foot, by free shuttle service (3-minutes long, every 20 minutes) or by pedestrian chairlift. 200 meters upstream of the upper cabin of the track past the cottage: Arrival of Le Bettex chairlift
ESF departures: to the Croisette. Access: by chairlift (at the bottom of the slope, easy to reach), or by the free shuttle service, or on foot to Sherpa (500 m away), and a small Preyerand cable car (duration: 2 minutes, every 5 minutes).
