3 Bed/3 Bathroom Fully Equipped Home In A Stunning Location

The house is modern and bright. It offers a relaxed luxury self catering experience. The house sleeps up to 6 people.

Set on the ground floor is a fully equipped kitchen, with a dishwasher, fridge freezer, washing machine, microwave, kettle and toaster. The sitting room offers a generous and comfortable living area. This is complete with relaxed seating, a formal dining table, freesat, wifi, a 32 inch flat screen tv, dvd player and a wireless speaker system for your music. French doors lead from the living area to a fully enclosed garden. There is a wc on this level.

The first floor has three bedrooms. It comprises of a master bedroom with a king size bed and en suite shower room, double bedroom, twin bedroom, and a family bathroom with a shower and bath. All bedrooms are fitted with privacy roller blinds or black out blinds. A cot and high chair are available for younger guests.

We are pleased to offer guests free wifi (wireless internet access) and private parking.

All towels and bed linen and gas/electricity included.

I was very satisfied about the property.

My main intrest was walking on highlands, the district was very good for that..

Excellent home away from home

My family and friends stayed at Calasraid in July 2016 and it was perfect for our holiday. The house was spacious, modern and clean with all the facilities we needed. We have a toddler and the house was great for him - with the garden accessible from the lounge which was a great, safe place for him to play and a highchair, stairgate and travel cot all provided by the owner.

The house is in a great location with lots of places to eat round about and when we didn't want to eat out, the kitchen had all the facilities we needed to cook.

Both the information provided by the owner in the house as well as in the e-mails sent before our stay was so helpful and made us feel very welcome. Thank you.

Tranquil and comfortable

Enjoyed Calasraid very much. Went to Callander to celebrate Thanksgiving week with my four twenty-something kids. House never felt cramped, prepared a 15-pound bird, and the house had all of the implements and seasonings to execute the job well.

The only difficulty with going to Callander in late November is that the sun comes up after 8am and disappears before 4pm, so life outdoors is limited. And it was cold.

Amanda was very helpful and kept in constant touch with me.

A perfect place to stay in a perfect locale

We booked this property for a two-week vacation for our group of 4 adults' stay in the Trossacks region of Scotland in mid September--Sept 9th to the morning of Sept 21st, 2015.

This part of Scotland is as beautiful as an part of the world I have yet seen. The weather might have been a bit on the wet side at times, but we were never "rained-out" for more that an hour or two during any of the days of our stay. The lodging is in the town of Callander which has significant charm all its own. And the people of the town are standouts for their engaging friendliness, warmth and humor. Calasraid, the name given to the property at which we stayed, is owned and managed by Amanda Hollis. Ms. Hollis provided a clean, modern 3-bedroom, 2 1/2 bath home on the edge of Callander with direct access to walking paths and sidewalks that lead to close at hand shopping even if you don't have a car at your disposal. The kitchen was well appointed and supplied and the 4 of us prepared just about all of our breakfasts and dinners there--by the way, twice a week a driver and van come to Callander with the freshest fish I have ever had.

Amanda was very helpful in many ways. She was always available either by phone or email; we never had any difficulty reaching her when we needed information or supplies. She arranges for a mid-week cleaning as well working it around the guests' schedules. She graciously resolved all concerns of her lodgers--she even found a camera that had been left behind, got in touch with me for shipping instructions and sent it off to me within a day or two.

I try to avoid hyperbole but this is one of the best vacations experiences in terms of people, locale and especially our host that I have personally ever had.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the experience to anyone!

Brilliant location , fantastic house

We spent half term in this fantastic house. It was spotlessly clean, really spacious, comfortable and beautifully appointed. It had everything we needed for self catering with more in relation to kitchen equipment, entertainment options was lovely and warm to come back to after a long day trek in thr rain.The location is perfect if you want to explore the stunning landscape and enjoy some great food at excellent local restaurants.For kids there was plenty to entertain them all within an easy drive. Amanda and Laura could not have not have been more helpful and welcoming. I will be recommending to friends and would have no hesitation in renting tgis lovely house again.

Calasraid is fantastic value for money

I stayed at calasraid for a few days with 2 friends, the house is beautiful, it is very modern and is beautifully decorated.

The house is big and very comfortable with everything you could ever need.

We went and explored the beautiful sights and the surrounding area.

It is breathtaking. Lovely places to visit and lovely restaurants all very close by.

I will be visiting again soon with my family.

We can't wait. X

'Calasraid' is a luxury 3 bedroom home in the small Trossachs town of Callander. Callander is a vibrant bustling town and is the eastern gateway to The Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park which includes about 720 square miles of some of the best scenery and wildlife in Scotland.

You can find 20 Munros, 22 large lochs, Scotland's only lake and 50 rivers and streams. The lochs and forests are a haven for those who want the peace and scenery of Loch Katrine, Loch Earn and smaller lochs, forests and rivers.

All of the lochs allow a hugh variety of watersports such as canoeing, fishing, gorge walking, kayaking, rafting, wake boarding, water skiing, jet skiing and sailing.

For walking and cycling enthusiasts there are forest tracks, abandoned railway lines and quiet glens which can be easily accessed for walking and mountain biking. More strenuous walking challenges can be found on the local Munros (Scottish mountains towering over 3000ft). The town is on the Rob Roy Way.

The woods, mountains and lochs are rich in wildlife. Throughout the year national park rangers organise and support a wide range of activies and events exploring the facinating wildlife of the parks. There are several sites nearby where the magnificant red kites can often be seen soaring in the skies and those who are lucky may catch a glimpse of ospreys feeding from the lochs.

The house is only 10 minutes from Blair Drummond Safari Park.

This really is the ideal location for those who enjoy the outdoors.
