Modern spacious villa boasting 2 balconies and a terrace and garden area. Situated in a small private gated development which is car free. The property is south facing enjoying the sun throughout the day. The surroundings area is calm, quiet and relaxing. whether you wish to lounge at the patio or spend your day at the pool surrounded by the beautiful panoramic views. There is a mini market on site for all your needs and a cafe/bar for a late snack or early morning coffee.
Villa Rosa is open plan downstairs with a modern kitchen and 2 large double/twin rooms with en suites. There are also 2 additional portable beds should they be required. Villa facilities include air-conditioning, washer/dryer, fridge/freezer, oven and hob, TV, DVD player and a selection of DVDs.
On leaving the complex there is a regular local bus service just outside which will bring you to Sunny Beach within 5 minutes. A further 10 minutes on this bus will take you to Nessebar.
Nessebar is a World Heritage site, a 13th century fishing village with quaint cobbled streets lined with seafood restaurants, cafés and bars, a quieter contrast to Sunny Beach.
Sunny Beach is a lively modern town. There are numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, with a wide range of entertainment for all of the family. The beaches are award winning Blue Flag accredited with white sands and crystal water. The beaches are safe for children and have many entertainment facilities such as jet skis, water boats, sailing, paragliding, bungee jumping. You will also find aqua parks, cycling, hiking, simulator rides and horse riding. And if you have enough of the is an Imax cinema.
If your taste is for Casinos and Marinas then Sveti Vlas (a bay along from Sunny Beach) is a must. With its modern Ampitheatre and luxurious beaches it is worth going for a coffee or to visit the shops and have lunch. It is a short bus ride away from Sunny Beach.
With the varied amount of restaurants you will have an excellent choice no matter what your taste. Bulgaria offers great value for money and makes your holiday money go further.
The Black Sea coast covers the whole eastern board of Bulgaria with beaches that occupy approx. 130km of the 378km coast. Summer tourists are attracted to the beautiful white beaches and Bulgaria's long hot summers. The region is an important centre for tourism during the summer, drawing foreign and Bulgarian visitors alike and constituting one of the country's most popular tourist destinations. Internationally known since 1989 as the Red Riviera, since the fall of the iron curtain its nick name has been changed to the Bulgarian Riviera. The country's average air temperature in summer is above 28 degrees, with the average water temperature at 25 degrees. There are more than 240 hours of sunshine in May and September and more than 2300 hours in July and August.
Although Bulgaria is regarded as a safe holiday destination, the villa is (fully alarmed) and located in a gated complex with 24hr security. Parking is also available on site although we have found that a car is not needed.
We can arrange collection from Burgas Airport when you arrive and safe return to the airport for your return flights.
Family man. My wife and I love holidays with the family and find Villa Rose an oasis of calm and relaxation, having a busy life in the UK. We want sun but we also want to feel that our children are safe so we can relax. They love the pools of course but also the ambience of being somewhere different.
Nigel Woods purchased this villa in 2005
Only 3 hours from the UK. Nice people. Nice weather, Relaxing. Private gated development which means that it is safe for the children without being supervised (they need my card key to get out). Yet there is a shop on site and restaurants just 400 metres up the road. There is a bus stop right outside the gate and the beach is 5 minutes away.
Great for the children now and when they grow up and great for us adults too.
Being that there are only 41 villas in the whole complex and many of them are not used very much by their owners the whole place is really relaxing - we often have the pool and sundeck to ourselves when we go in May. However, everyone is nice and friendly so it is not unusual to have BBQs by the pool and al fresco get togethers. Then of course there is the lovely view of the coast which just lights up at dusk.
Lovely to go somewhere different but still have all the home comforts. Swimming pool a bit cold but I guess it is still early in the season. Hiring a car was a waste of time as the taxis are cheap and there is a bus stop right outside the shop that serves the villas.
We had a great stay in Sunny Beach at this property which was comfortable and larger than expected. The gated complex was really well cared for and the apartment was very close to the lovely pool, which although shared was very quiet. There were plenty of loungers and some shade to enjoy by the pool. The apartment had everything you would need for an enjoyable stay, there was a small shop that was great for essentials at the end of the drive and the bus into town was reliable and cheap. The resort itself was busy in the central area, but quieter for families at the Sveti Vlas end which was closest to the apartment. Two huge aqua parks were brilliant for kids and a 'must do' for your stay. We would recommend this apartment if you are thinking of staying in Sunny Beach with a family.
We had a brilliant stay here. The villa is beautiful, alongside the surrounding gated area. The communal pool is just a stones throw away from the property and we made great use of this most days. We went at the end of June and generally was quite quiet, which meant you could often have the pool to yourself. Everyone was really lovely and helpful. Special thanks to the owners who reacted very quickly and efficiently to our last minute booking.
There is a local bus that runs quite regularly to Sunny Beach and other local areas, which was very reasonable.
There is also a local supermarket at the front of the gated area, so you have option of staying there or going out which ever is your preference!
The owners were very accomodating to myself and our family. We would definitely stay here again.
Very comfortable Villa. All facilities convenient. Fully furnished. Pleasant surroundings plus swimming pool. Everything as advertised. Management company seems to be on the ball keeping the place clean. The contact I had before the trip was helpful. Would recommend to friends. There was a good bus service to the beach and shops. The local restaurant up the road (Hunters) was very friendly.
This is a first rate villa it is clean and well maintained and the gardens remained in great colour throughout our stay. All facilities are in place including wifi - gr8 as I needed to be in contact with work. The overall feeling is of safety especially for the children (5 and 7). It is fences so they cannot run off and car free so no risk to them or fear for us.
As we were slightly "off season the villa, in a complex was really pretty empty and we had the pool completely to ourselves as we needed it.
When we went out the resorts of Sunny Beach, Nessebar and Sveti Vlas were really close. To be honest Fay from the management company was a complete star in this like most of the people we met in the area very friendly and pleasant.
In fact Fay and her husband picked us up from the airport and took us to the villa when we arrived and then dropped us off at the end of the holiday. Which was a super touch and unique I think for this rental. They even got us some groceries for when we arrived.
So on that basis cannot recommend highly enough.
We are perched on a hill behind the bay of Nessebar overlooking Sunny Beach and the World Heritage Site of Nessebar. Spectacular views at night when the lights come on. We are in a private villa complex built on a former Almond Grove. This is an oasis of calm whilst the Beach is just 2 KM away. Just outside the complex is a local shop (supplying basic essentials) and cafe and a bus stop with regular (and very cheap) buses to the Beach or the centre of Sunny Beach and from there to either old Nessebar (World Heritage Site) or Sveti Vlas (Marina and other beaches).
There are 3 water parks, go carting, horse riding, mini golf, bars, night clubs, restaurants, casinos, markets and of course beach activities just a short bus or taxi ride away (taxis can be ordered from the local shop - usually a nice Mercedes). Up the road is Kosharitza which is a local village (with a couple of inexpensive restaurants) whilst the City of Bourgas (Burgas) and Varna are both worth a visit for their Cathedrals, churches and other cultural buildings and landmarks.
Within Almond Hills itself are 40 villas (most of which are not used all the time which means it never seems very busy) so there is plenty of space to sit around the large pool, walk around the lush gardens or relax in the villas own garden, on the terrace or on the balcony. There is a BBQ at the villa which we find is just great for those relaxing evenings at the villa admiring the views or taking an evening dip in the pool.
You wont need a car but there is a car park on site if you have one. Faye at the management company we use can point you in the direction of the various supermarkets, activities, excursions and good restaurants. They will let you into the villa when you arrive and show you how things work and can also pick you up from and take you back to Burgas airport by arrangement.
I like getting up at a decent time in the morning before it gets too hot and going for a run, then breakfast on the patio, dip in the pool, chat with some of the other people at Almond Hills, read a book, lunch, siesta, down to one of the beaches (I prefer Sveti Vlas), a cocktail as the sun fades, back to the villa for a barbeque or out to dinner at the local restaurant with a nice glass or two of fine Bulgarian Wine. But that's just me. There are lots of things to do if you want. Old Nessebar is a must to visit with its cobbled streets, old buildings and some great fish restaurants. The winery 'Black Sea Gold' is apparently interesting and if you can be bothered to travel for a couple of hours then Varna is worth exploring to the north or if you follow the coast to the south then Turkey may be worth a visit (stopping at Sozopol en route - another seaside resort). For food definately try the lamb, the shopska salad and for drink, try a rakia (but not if you are driving).
We go with the children and find the area to be very pleasant and they love it. Enjoy:)
