Cloisters are paved with tombstones; nearby, a Jewish cemetery attests to the importance of a Jewish community in the 17-18th centuries. The square is now lined with arcaded houses. Some houses have a gable façade with corbelled half-timbered red or green; they show mullioned windows and carved lintels. Navarre The houses are rectangular with hipped roof and arched entrance.
