Sleeps 13, 5 Bedroom Villa in Cupra Marittima
- English, French, Italian
We are an Anglo Italian family with historic roots in the region going back more than 1000 years, though various members of the family are now scattered round the world. .
Why David chose Cupra Marittima
We built Villa Le Cupe over 25 years ago as a permanent residence to a very high standard. There are 4 french windows leading from the drawing room and dining room to the covered terraces and we like the sense that the garden flows into the rooms especially in the evenings.
What makes this Villa unique
We hope you enjoy the Summer here as much as we have over the years.
The garden is fenced all the way round.
Cancelled bookings will not receive a refund.
Beautiful large villa, immaculately presented with incredible grounds. You won’t be disappointed!
This has been the best villa we have ever stayed in and we have stayed in quite a few!
It was so well presented and very very clean! The place is so much bigger then we thought it would be.
David and his team were very helpful if we ever needed anything.
The pool, although not huge compared to rest of the grounds was clean and very nice to use.
We loved cooking the large sociable kitchen that came fully equipped and even included some common used items you would hope to use when cooking.
David provided childrens beds, change mats, nappies, a cot, a high chair and toys!
The whole place is very exclusive and private. It is situated on a hill over looking the Adriatic ocean. There is also easy access to the local beach with our own umbrella and sunbeds right on the shore.
Thanks for letting us use your beautiful home for our special family holiday!
Beautiful, spacious beach villa
We stayed in this villa for a week in August 2015 and had a wonderful experience. The house is extremely spacious with plenty of room for one or more families. The house is well equipped, very clean and well kept. We traveled with young children and there was a lot to keep them entertained between the pool, the large yard and children's toys and games. The villa is well situated with nice views of from the yard, and is hidden away via a private, gated drive (Cupra is a safe, quiet beach town anyway). The beach is a short and easy walk from the villa. Although the walk along the road is steep, it is easily navigable for both adults and children. The beach is lovely and renters have use of a front row beach umbrella and have access to the beach club/restaurant. The town, shops and restaurants are in close walking distance and there is a nice jogging path along the beach that connects the towns. The medieval part of the town is also a short, easy walk from the villa and offers a few excellent restaurants and great views. The owners, David and Marina, are extremely friendly, accessible and helpful. David speaks fluent English (and Italian of course) which made all of the logistics easy in planning our trip from the U.S. We loved Cupra and this amazing villa, and hope to return.
Many thanks for your very kind and precise review. We look forward to seeing you here again.
Villa e Cupe is just outside the buzzing seaside town of Cupra Marittima where the facilities and the beach are particularly suitable for families.
The sea is shallow for 50m or so, the beaches are sandy and the beach bars welcoming.
There are two parts to Cupra, the medieval town, locally known as Marano, which sits above the newer town, and which must be seen for its cobbled streets, beautiful buildings and sensational views of the sea. Here there are a couple of restaurants in wonderful setting which merit a visit or perhaps two.
The newer part of town does not have high rise flats and hotels but has preserved the pretty old seaside houses and small hotels. Most shops, cafes and restaurants are family owned and provide local produce - particularly fish, fruit and vegetables. This is the part of town where the hustle and bustle of seaside holidays takes place: coffee in the piazza, lunch by the beach, swimming in the afternoon and a glass of cool wine in the evening.
A few kms further away are Grottammare and San Benedetto famous for their night life and fashionable shops.
Within easy striking distance by car there are numerous cultural attractions ranging from hilltop villages and Roman ruins to the world class Macerata opera festival.
