A favourite place to take breakfast is on the long terrace that runs along the garden side of the house. This is equipped with a dining table with chairs as well as bench seating with backrests.

The garden has broad terraces with olive, oak and cade trees, giving plenty of natural shade.

The 10mx4m swimming pool is set in a paved terrace with a storage house for the sun loungers etc.

A solar freshwater shower is installed on the terrace.

3 steps above the pool terrace is a raised dining terrace, mounted on stilts to ensure a midday breeze, a solid stone table can seat 10 to 12 with a an adjustable parasol offering sun protection. The dining terrace is equipped with a refrigerator, sink with cold water supply and power point for the coffee maker. There is a full inventory of non breakable melamine crockery for use out doors.

The pool and terrace are completely secluded, so delightfully private.

Just 3,5 km from the centre of the village yet wonderfully tranquil this is a very relaxing spot.

St cézaire sur siagne is a 12th century village that has all that you need a choice of restaurants and bars, 3 bakeries, 2 butchers, vegetable shop, tobacconist/newsagent and a modern supermarket. On Saturday mornings the square is taken over by a regional market.

St cézaire is a pretty picturesque provencal village perched on the edge of the river siagne gorges, inland from grasse (20 km), and surrounded by olive groves.

St cassien lake is nearby (15 km) and the Mediterranean sea (Cannes) is only 30 km away.

You can find tranquillity and lots of things to do

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I stayed there last June and had a wonderful time. We hope to stay again and can recommend this lovely house to family and friends. It's very easy to get to from Nice airport and Marie Claude was very accommodating leaving us instructions of how everything worked, where to eat and places to visit. Some days we just stayed relaxing by the gorgeous pool which was larger than I expected. Others we walked into St Cézaire (15 mins walk) for lunch, went walking in the gorge or visited a local museum of which there are many in the area. The property and pool were very clean and well maintained and the description was accurate. A big highlight for me was sitting in the veranda having breakfast, listening to the early morning birds and looking at a beautiful view of St Cézaire carved in between the treeline. You get a real feeling of how the French live by visiting the area as its mainly full of locals.

“I have stayed here before and loved it soo much I took my sister and parents there. Firstly it is only 45 mins drive from nice airport yet you feel soo far away from the hum of the riviera and yet you can pop down to Cannes, Antibes or st tropes easily. It's lovely , homely and very private. The views over st cesaire and the gorges are spectacular and being high it's that lovely clean air not muggy. We walked into town every day for fresh essentials and a coffee in the square experiencing real French life. We did a lot of walking and visited most of the regions stunning gorges and cliff top villages. I love this place it's very special and with sky tv I didn't miss any of the Wimbledon tennis. I don't have kids but there is plenty for them to do in the area and the pool is perfect and we became quite skilled at platonque or boules as you can play close the pool. Super.
