The house and location are great. Easy access to hiking and outdoors. Owner's home is right next door, so not as much privacy as you might like.
Quiet and secluded, exactly what we were looking for. Plenty of room for our family if 4. Boys enjoyed the creek and the goats. Sam and Nora were as friendly as could be.
We stay at this house for a weekend each year and always have a wonderful time. The house is a great way to get away and enjoy nature, but still have all the comforts you need to have fun. The owners are kind and accommodating. Highly recommend staying here!
Stayed at the house for a adult cousins' weekend float trip. Had an enjoyable time and the house was perfect for our needs. Close to Blue Springs Resort and the Meramec River. Great four bedrooms with comfortable beds and nice linens..
This is our groups second trip this year. Last year was our first time staying here and we all agreeded we wanted to come back this year! We have a group of 10 and we all enjoy this cabin. We will be back again next year!
The cabin was amazing minus the spiders but didnt expect no less we we're in a rural area. Very spacious and the kitchen table was just right for all 8 of us. His wife was very nice and only seen Sam one time didnt seem too friendly but that had no effect on our stay. They had goats right across the property and the kids LOVED that. Overall 5 stars and would definitely stay here again.
We are located just 10 miles off Interstate I-44 and just 70 miles from St. Louis, Missouri. Six Flags theme park is within an easy drive. Taste the local grapes at any of the many world famous Missouri wineries located just a few miles 'down the road'. Missouri is called the 'Cave State' and there are several close by to explore! Maybe you yearn to hop on a horse and experience the Missouri Ozarks in this unique way. Trail rides can be arranged locally. Float the local lazy rivers on canoes or rafts. Or hike the many acres of woods and fields on the many trails in the area.
