Maison Balaÿ in Port-Cros, remodeled by Architect Marc Brillaud de Laujardière in the 1930s, offers you a unique Art Deco style on the island of Port-Cros. Its architecture with rounded columns, its large openings on the sea offer a breathtaking view of the bay and the island of Bagaud. Staying true to the Provencal style, the house was completely renovated in 2015.
A very beautiful staircase lined with vines leads to the central terrace, arranged with a plancha corner for good grilling, a beautiful fitted kitchen and an elegant double living room. The ground floor also offers a master bedroom with bathroom and view of the Fort du Moulin. There are seven additional bedrooms on the upper floor - three with a double bed and four with two twin beds. The upper floor also offers access to a 60 square meter terrace, furnished with an outdoor lounge protected from the sun by a pretty pergola. A few lounge chairs invite you to relax, this magical place offers a spectacular view of the port, the bay, the Fort du Moulin and the Ile de Bagaud without forgetting a magnificent sunset. An outdoor shower located at the entrance of the house is ideal for rinsing off after returning from the beach or cooling off at any time of the day.
The island of Port-Cros is entirely pedestrian; the pretty little port invites you to play beautiful games of pétanque at the end of the day while the children play hide and seek around the many palm trees. There are 5 restaurants at your disposal within a few minutes walk. A small grocery store is open every day to complete your food shopping.
Port-Cros is a national park since 1963, its flora and fauna are rich, a multitude of pretty shaded paths lead you to the beaches and invite you to the highest point of the island for a panoramic view of the islands of Hyères.
